The Causeway

The Lewes Fire Flies currently play in the historical town of Lewes.  The stadium built especially to hold Sussex sporting events was finally finished in 2004 and the team will 'move in' in November 2004.  Brighton however have been playing there for last part of October 2004.  Wondered where the name came from?  Well it is named after the bridge that crosses the river, The Pheonix Causeway.

The current price for entry is 15.00 and the maximum capacity is 14,000 with the intension to expand.

The current plan of the ground is as follows:

 

North Stand :
Block 1 = 1500*

Block 5 = 250

South Stand :
Block 1 = 1500*

East Stand :
Block 1 = 2000(2t)#

West Stand :
Block 1 = 1000*
