 Welcome to my tribute page to Chicago Cubs pitcher KERRY WOOD! Here you will find much information about Kerry the athlete as well as Kerry the man. (And if you like what you see, don't forget to sign the Guestbook!) I have been a fan of Kerry's since he hit the Chicago scene back in 1998. It was pretty obvious right off the bat to Cubs fans that we struck gold when we got Kerry as he tallied 20 strikeouts in one game against Houston, tying a major league record in just his rookie season. Kerry does his best game in and game out to try to lead his team to victory. He has 1,065 strikeouts coming in to the 2004 season. Obviously the ending to the 2003 season is not what Kerry or Cubs fans had hoped for, but with the 2004 version of Kerry & Co., this season looks very promising!
