The Story of Us

It all started with a glance and a smile almost a decade ago.

While working at a clothing store in Kelowna, I happened to glance outside, just as Jason glanced in and we shared a smile. It was that smile that prompted him to enter the store to ask me out. But first, Jason tried on just about every pair of jeans we had in stock before getting up the courage to ask for my number. We have been inseparable ever since.

Jason proposed on May 9, 2002, under the cherry blossom trees in Friendship Gardens in New Westminster. We had ended up there after an afternoon walk, sitting on a bench at the duck ponds. It was in this perfect location that Jason got down on his knee and asked me to marry him.
