Have you ever thought about what to name a pet? The name you choose says as much about you as it does about your pet. It shows how you view them and your relationship with them. Here is a site that has 2,000 Names

Would you like to create a website for your pet? Here is one site you might like to have a look at -- Fuzzy Faces.

I am thinking of creating an "animal friendly" Cookbook.
Would love to include your favourite recipes!

For example, one of the recipes in my collection is

Jacob & Mercedes' Pizza

Absolutely no need to ever again worry about your dogs barking at the pizza delivery guy!

Crust

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water
Toppings

  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 cup canned mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon soy bacon bits
  • 1 pinch fennel seeds
Mix four, cornmeal, and baking soda in a large bowl.
Add oil and water and stir to form a firm dough.
Place onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
If dough is too sticky knead in a bit more flour.
Divide ball in half.
Roll each half into an 8 inch circle.
Place each dough round on a well greased cookie sheet and bake in a 325 degree oven for 25 minutes.
When dough is out of the oven again, combine the tomato paste, olive oil, garlic granules, and oregano in a measuring cup. Stir well.
Spread 1/2 of this mixture onto each dough round as if saucing a pizza.
Top with mushrooms, pushing each piece into the sauce so they will stick. Sprinkle with a pinch of fennel and distribute the bacon bits between both pizzas.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool and cut each into 8 wedges with a pizza cutter.
