The Laramie Project

The true story of what happens to a town after the brutal murder of a gay University of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard. How they cope, grieve, and ask questions as to how it could have happened. This docu-drama delves into the often shunned subject of intolerance and hate that exists in our world today, not just in Laramie, but everywhere. Sami received a "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" nomination for her portrayal of Officer Reggie Fluty.

Twelfth Night

Sami traveled to London with her ensemble and performed this show at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts). The ensemble took part in a private Shakespeare workshop. Sami received the "Best Actress in a leading role" award for her energetic, humorous, insightful and athletic portrayal of Feste (pictured below).
The Matchmaker

The Matchmaker is a heartwarming comic masterpiece about love, money, and other adventures. Dolly Levi -- a Yonkers, New York "matchmaker" -- arranges the marriages of three couples... herself with the wealthy curmudgeon, Horace Vandergelder, his niece Ermengarde with artist Ambrose Kemper, and Vandergelder's Chief Clerk Cornelius with the widow Irene Molloy. It isn't all that simple though and what follows is a fun filled time of merriment and mix-ups! The Matchmaker is the play on which the Broadway musical Hello Dolly is based.
