Backlash begins, after a short hype video for the show, with a few pyro and the camera trying to get every fan and their sign on air for a few seconds. Eric Bischoff and Jason Beausoleil appear out from behind the black curtain and bow courteously to the fans for buying tickets and driving out to the show they have put together. Jason and Eric tell the fans to enjoy the show and then step aside as Rachael Knightly and Matthew Rainey make their way out from behind the black curtain. Rachael waves to the fans as Matthew looks all business, very professional. Matthew stares at Rachael’s assets, trying to be subtle about it, but failing.
Rachael Knightly: “Welcome wrestling fans to what looks to be one impressive evening! Tonight Melina is going to try to bring out the fight of the arm candy of Nick Beausoleil, Dream McMahon!”
Matthew Rainey: “Don’t count on it. I say after this match between her and Melina is over she will be more determined then ever to take a job sitting behind a desk. It was a nice attempt by Melina though to motivate her.”
Rachael Knightly: “Maria is cockier then ever now that she is aligned has been receiving training from The London Sensation, Jeremy Wilson. Though I don’t know how much training they have been doing. Last I heard the two of them were talking and flirting when they should have been in the gym.”
Matthew Rainey: “So what? They are friends and friends are allowed to have a conversation with one another. Maria has been nothing short of impressive and so much more before and even more so after asking Jeremy to train her. She called it when she said Trish would back out of the match they had this week. Can’t say as though I blame her though.”
Rachael Knightly: (she sighs) “Well Stacy and Shayne is sure to be he best of the diva matches if you ask me! Shayne has proved once again that when she wants to put the fight to the rest of the divas she sure as hell can! I think Stacy is finally going to get that big mouth of hers shut once and for all!”
Matthew Rainey: “For once I agree with you Rachael, Stacy does need that big mouth of hers shut but it will be no easy task for Shayne Deville. Stacy could shove Shayne back into silence though, you never know.”
Rachael Knightly: “A match I have been looking forward to all night is the triple threat with Brian Brutal, Travisty, and Nick! These three are going to try to kill each other! Travis may have been silent all this week but I think he is going to start making a comeback because he wants to be the world champion again!”
Matthew Rainey: “Please… the man is old and tired out. Nobody wants to pay to see that man become the world champion and I have to wonder if Stacy has something going with some wrestler around here. I haven’t seen Stacy with Travis. However who I like, which is all that matters, is Nick. Nick is on a mission and he won’t let Brutal and Travis stand in his way!”
Rachael Knightly: “The match of the night though is by far the biggest! The tag team championships are on the line when Johnny Nitro and The Tank Hank Gunyon step into the ring against The Golden Boys! I can’t wait to see the reaction on that pompous ass Randy Orton’s face when he is staring Tank right in the eye!”
Matthew Rainey: “Please, you have to be joking right? Tank and Nitro cannot hold a candle to The Golden Boys and here tonight we are going to have new tag team champions. Orton beat Tank last week and he will do it again and take the titles for The Golden Boys.”
Rachael Knightly: “Oh I am very serious! Tank is a tag team specialist and if you don’t believe me then look at the history of the CMF. He has been apart of the most awkward and successful tag teams here at the CMF.”
Matthew Rainey: “You have got to be joking? What do you know about CMF’s history? You have been here at least a week. You need to get your facts straight. Tank got put with a winner, someone who decided they wanted to take pity and make something of him and he always found a way to screw it up just like he will here tonight!”
Rachael Knightly: (shaking her head) “Well anyway ladies and gentlemen, it is time to start the show and it is not going to be something you want not to miss!”
Matthew Rainey: “Yeah see an idiot get pounded in the main event and several lazy divas moan about actually wrestling! I will tell you one thing Maria and Stacy are right on the money and Melina is the most naïve diva on the roster to think she can motivate Dream to do anything but swing off of Nick’s arm.”
Dream McMahon vs. Melina Perez
Lillian Garcia: “The following match is the opening match for Backlash, on her way to the ring at this time, she is a former Women’s and Hardcore Champion, being accompanied to the ring by Johnny Nitro… The Dominant Diva… Melina!”
Melina’s music begins to play as the fans cheer as loud as they can. Johnny Nitro emerges out from behind the black curtain and looks back and throws his hands back, pointing at the curtain. Melina steps out with her arms raised high. Nitro dips Melina and the two head down to the ring in their usual way and get in the usual way.
Matthew Rainey: “What the heck is Johnny Nitro doing out here? The man has a match at the end of the night, an execution really! Johnny Nitro should NOT be out here!”
Rachael Knightly: “Well he is and I think it is sweet when you support your girlfriend like he is doing! Besides I am sure he just out here to neutralize Nick Beausoleil!”
Lillian Garcia: “And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by the ‘French Evil’ Nick Beausoleil… Dream McMahon!”
Dream McMahon’s music begins to play as she steps out with Nick Beausoleil by her side. The fans boo as loud as they can as the French Evil and his arm candy head down to the ring, absolutely no respect for Dream and the Light Heavyweight Champion.
Matthew Rainey: “This match is a waste, maybe we’ll get lucky and Nick takes off Johnny Nitro’s head before the match is over and we won’t have a main event.”
Rachael Knightly: “You’re still bitter about last week and Alex getting plowed by Nitro’s friend The Tank.”
Matthew Rainey: “Damn right I am! He broke Alex’s ribs, you know my fiancée?”
Melina and Dream tie up in the middle of the ring. Dream takes Melina into a side wristlock. Dream turns the wristlock into a hammerlock (not an armbar, god Cena you’re so dumb!).
Matthew Rainey: “No wonder Melina lost the hardcore and women’s titles! Look at her being out wrestled by Dream McMahon!”
Rachael Knightly: “Maybe a little bit of what Melina said sunk in with Dream and she is going to give her a fight here tonight.”
Melina holds her shoulder as Dream looks at Nick and smiles. Dream notices Nick staring at Melina and gets a little distracted. Melina takes advantage and reverses and puts Dream into a hammerlock.
Rachael Knightly: “Melina takes advantage of Dream being distracted!”
Matthew Rainey: “Why the heck would Nick look at Melina for? Dream is so much better to look at then Melina!”
Rachael Knightly: “Oh come on! Melina is beautiful and Nick is stoned so why would ANYONE listen to one word the idiot has to say?”
Melina takes Dream into a side headlock and works her over, trying to break the woman’s neck. Nick smacks on the apron, shouting and showing his support.
Rachael Knightly: “Nick trying to make up for staring at Melina earlier and distracting Dream!”
Matthew Rainey: “Dream should not have gotten distracted, you don’t see Stacy or Maria taking their attention off of any match they have.”
Melina turns the side headlock into a hammerlock and runs Dream into the corner and hooks her arm under the top rope and tries to break some joint in her arm… which one, that doesn’t really matter.
Matthew Rainey: “And here goes the match for Dream, Melina taking full advantage and giving Dream no chance to comeback.”
Rachael Knightly: “Who knows, sometimes it takes a beating to bring out the fire and we all know Dream has that, she is a McMahon after all.”
Matthew Rainey: “That has never been proven, Rachael.”
Melina shoves Dreams face into the turnbuckle, making her eat it so to speak. Melina pulls Dream from the corner by her hair and slams her hard on the canvas. Melina plays to the crowd, getting nothing but cheers from every single last one of them!
Matthew Rainey: “I told you, Dream won’t comeback. To comeback she would actually have to do something and other then two moves in the beginning… she will do nothing the rest of this match. It is sad when someone like Melina has to carry a match.”
Rachael Knightly: “Dream is taking a lot and they are doing a fine job in this match, Matthew.”
Melina lifts up Dream and signals to the crowd it is time for the “Divastor”. Dream counters and delivers a kneeling jawbreaker, as Nick gets excited at ringside. Nick shouts at Dream to make the cover and begins to beat on the mat. Dream makes the cover;

Melina kicks out as the crowd goes wild.
Rachael Knightly: “Melina managed to kick out just in time!”
Matthew Rainey: “I have to give Dream credit, that was one heck of a counter to the ‘Divastor’. Usually when Melina sets up for that there is no countering and the match is over.”
Rachael Knightly: “These two are putting on one heck of a match.”
Dream cannot believe and moves Melina to the ropes and flips her over, putting her throat along the bottom rope. Dream begins to choke Melina using the bottom rope, the referee pulling Dream off and Dream taking a second to flirt with the referee. Nick gets in a few cheap shots and chokes Melina. Nitro comes running around, but Nick avoids confrontation and gets around to the other side of the ring.
Matthew Rainey: “Dream is actually playing this match smart? I would have never believed it before I saw it right here and right now.”
Rachael Knightly: “Dream distracting the referee while Nick gets in a few cheap shots for his girlfriend. I didn’t think Dream would sink to such levels.”
Matthew Rainey: “Whatever gets the match won, that is what I say.”
Dream pushes passed the referee, who is pretty hot and sexed up from Dream’s flirting, and begins to go to work on Melina, continue to choke her using the bottom rope… and now the middle rope! Dream pulls Melina to the middle of the ring and flips her over on her back, making the cover.
Rachael Knightly: “No… not like this! Not like this!”

Matthew Rainey: “Big upset for Dream McMahon!”
3… No!
Melina manages to get her shoulder up at just the very last possible second!
Rachael Knightly: “Melina manages to kick out at the very last second! God Stacy would not have let her live down a loss here tonight!”
Dream lifts Melina to her feet and blows a kiss to Nick and goes for the “Sick’n’Twisted”, but Melina counters with a fireman’s carry into an arm bar and then takes her other arm and hooks Dream’s head with a sleeper. Melina wears Dream down and then slowly lifts her to her feet. Melina spins Dream around and out of nowhere drops her with the “Divastor” in the middle of the ring!
Matthew Rainey: “That’s it! That’s it! That’s it! Dream is put away! Dream is finished!”
Rachael Knightly: “Dream put up one heck of a fight, but in the end she just could not compete against Melina!”
Melina covers Dream and Nick hops up on the apron and pulls the referees attention by trying to get into the ring. Nitro runs around the ring and pulls Nick off of the side of the ring. Nick and Nitro exchange right hands back and forth as the referee turns around to see the pin attempt being made.
Matthew Rainey: “Nick trying to play as the distraction and help his girlfriend but Nitro neutralized him!”
Rachael Knightly: “What a war they are waging on the outside!”

Lillian Garcia: “And here is your winner of the match… The Dominant Diva… Melina!”
Johnny Nitro slides into the ring, breaking his brawl with the lightweight champion. Nick dusts himself out and pulls Dream out of the ring and helps her back to her locker room. Nick turns his head back and looks at Melina as Melina winks at him with a smile. Nitro and Melina celebrate in the middle of the ring together.
Rachael Knightly: “What an impressive win for Melina here tonight! That might be just what she needs to get back in the title hunt!”
Matthew Rainey: “It certainly puts her back on the fast track, not that Torrie or Alex won’t knock her right back off.”
Backlash cuts off to a commercial break. When the show resumes, we see Jeremy and Randy backstage with Shayne Deville, The pretty blonde diva just finishing the last of her warms up and now, faces both men as Jeremy smiles.
Shayne Deville: “What, what’s so funny?.”
Jeremy Wilson: “ Nothing, I was just noticing the look on your face is all.”
His dark eyes go to Randy, standing beside him.
Jeremy Wilson: “ You notice it as well, don’t you Randy?.”
Randy Orton: “ Oh yeah, plain as the cute nose on her face.”
Shayne Deville: “ Okay guys.. What are you talking about?. Did the two of you sneak off for a bit of the smoke before you found me?.”
Randy Orton: “ Well yeah, But that has NOTHING to do with this”.
Jeremy Wilson: “ Shayne, its just this confidence you have. You have had it since you returned. I really think Stacy doesn’t know what she has ahead of her tonight, with you. That’s all we meant.”
Randy Orton: “ Yeah, its nice to see that in you. That’s what the CMF needs, divas that can not only look beautiful but kick ass. I got to say, I am very impressed in what I seen of you this week. With that attitude you have Shayne, you cant help but win tonight.”
Shayne smiles, dropping her eyes, then looking back up again.
Shayne Deville: “ Well my attitude helps a lot, not to mention I do intend to kick Stacy’s behind. But it helps to know that I got the two of you back here cheering me on as well.”
Jeremy Wilson: “ Oh that we are love.”
Over there heads, her music is heard as Shayne gives Randy one last look.
Shayne Deville: “ I got to go, wish me luck.”
Quickly, Randy leans over and kisses her cheek. Stepping back with a smile.
Randy Orton: “Now, you will win for sure.”
Still with her smile, Shayne locks eyes with Randy for several seconds, then disappears towards the entryway. Jeremy now staring at his friend. Saying nothing.
Randy Orton: “ What?.”
Shaking his head, Jeremy then turns and moves for a closer look to the action as we then, go ringside.
Lillian Garcia: “The following is the second match of the night, introducing first, on her way to the ring at this time, Shayne Deville!”
The fans cheer and Shayne Deville makes her way out from behind the black curtain. Shayne heads to the ring with a look of confidence, ready to take on her opponent this week Stay Keibler. Shayne rolls into the ring and plays to the crowd, awaiting her opponent.
Matthew Rainey: “Now here is a respectable diva! Shayne has proven she can get the job done and she has proven she can be as focused as they come!”
Rachael Knightly: “Shayne and Stacy, this should be even better then Dream and Melina if you ask me, Matthew!”
Matthew Rainey: “I didn’t but that’s okay.”
Rachael shoots Matthew a dirty look as Matthew just shrugs and shakes his head.
Lillian Garcia: “And her opponent, one of the originators of bitchiness, THE most hated diva in all of professional wrestling as well as most opinionated…”
Matthew Rainey: “Just notice how most opinionated and biggest bitch go hand in hand through life together?”
Rachael Knightly: “I actually like Stacy! Minus that line she said about me earlier this week, I like her and look forward to seeing a lot more of her!”
Lillian Garcia: “As I was saying, making her way to the ring at this time, the opponent of Shayne Deville… Stacy Keibler!!!”
Stacy’s music begins to play as most of the fans show their respect by chanting horrible and hateful things towards her. Stacy smiles and waves to them in a very sarcastic way. Stacy turns her back on the fans and kisses two of her fingers and places them on her rear end. Stacy continues on her way down to the ring.
Matthew Rainey: (laughing) “Only Stacy Keibler would do something like that! And how hot that is!
Rachael Knightly: “Men…” (she sighs)
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Stacy and Shayne circle one another inside the ring.
Matthew Rainey: (sarcastically) “Wow, a real fast paced match. I certainly hope we don’t have trouble keeping up.”
Stacy holds up her hand, wanting a test of strength. Shayne goes to accept but instead kicks Stacy right in the stomach and shakes her index finger at Stacy Keibler, knowing exactly where she was going with the test of strength.
Matthew Rainey: “Wow cutting Stacy off, didn’t expect that from Shayne!”
Shayne delivers a few right hands. Stacy falls against the ropes, being knocked around and having trouble remembering where she is.
Rachael Knightly: “Shayne showing that she can lead the women’s locker room with an iron fist here tonight!”
Matthew Rainey: “When she wants to, most of the time she is just lazy.”
Shayne brings Stacy to the middle of the ropes she rests against. Shayne goes to throw Stacy off the ropes. Shayne takes Stacy down with a hip toss.
Rachael Knightly: “Beautiful hip toss by the former hardcore champion!”
Shayne backs up and stalks Stacy, waiting for her to get back to her feet.
Matthew Rainey: “I don’t know how smart this is, waiting on Stacy to just get up on her own, and giving her time to catch her breath.”
Stacy gets up and feeds around… right into a clothesline by Shayne! The crowd goes wild as Stacy rolls up and gets taken down again by another clothesline.
Rachael Knightly: “Shayne is fired up here tonight and ready to take back everything she once had here in the CMF!”
Matthew Rainey: “The best fight you will find is the diva or wrestler who is contending for the title, not the one defending it.”
Rachael Knightly: “Wow that was sort of profound, does the CMF make fortune cookies now or something?”
Matthew shakes his head, sighing.
Shayne rolls Stacy up off the mat. Stacy delivers a kneeling jawbreaker to Shayne Deville. Stacy bounces off the ropes and delivers a senton splash. Stacy pulls up Shayne’s legs and bridges up her back with a cover.

Kick out by Shayne Deville!
Rachael Knightly: “Near fall by Stacy Keibler!”
Matthew Rainey: “Goes to show that a well done jawbreaker or any move for that matter can end the match or come close to it!”
Shayne gets to her feet as does Stacy. Shayne goes to end the match but Stacy throws back her right foot and catches Shayne right in the jaw as the fans react, shocked. The fans boo Stacy as she smiles and slowly rolls into the cover.

Shayne Deville manages to get her foot along the bottom rope!
Rachael Knightly: “I thought it was over there! Shayne knew exactly where she was in that ring and got her foot on the rope!”
Matthew Rainey: “Oh Stacy is pissed off now! She so thought she had this match won with that kick to the jaw!”
Stacy drives her forearm into the face of Shayne Deville. Stacy smashes her forearm across Shayne Deville’s face several times over. Stacy rips Shayne up and throws her to the corner, falling backwards she throws Shayne so hard. Shayne’s feet kick up in front of her and she goes flying over the top rope with the impact with which she hits the corner turnbuckles!
Matthew Rainey: “Oh Shayne…. Shayne, Shayne, Shayne… what have you done… you pissed off an already very angry Stacy Keibler.”
Stacy rolls out of the ring and kicks Shayne against the barricade. Stacy begins to choke Shayne with her knee, bending back, and holding the top of the barricade.
Matthew Rainey: “Ouch… must suck to be Shayne right about now.”
Rachael Knightly: “Yeah um… remind me never to piss off Stacy because this is just getting out of hand. I mean look at what she is doing to Shayne for just kicking out!”
Stacy pulls Shayne to her feet and goes for a pile driver. Stacy smiles to the fans as they boo right back at her. Stacy waves her hands at them, not caring what they chant at her. Stacy shoves Shayne back down to the padded concrete and lifts up one of the pads and begins to move them away.
Matthew Rainey: “Uh-oh! Don’t do this Stacy!”
Rachael Knightly: “So just because Shayne kicked out Stacy is going to break her neck?”
Matthew Rainey: “That’s what it looks like and I can’t believe it! Then again it makes perfect sense when I really think about it. I mean this IS Stacy Keibler after all.”
Stacy pulls Shayne over the concrete and readies a pile driver. Shayne counters and comes around behind Stacy and takes her down by her right leg and goes for an ankle lock but Stacy manages to twist, turn, and shove Shayne into the barricade! Shayne pulls herself to her feet as Stacy goes running and attempts a clothesline. Shayne leans forward and uses Stacy’s own momentum to back drop her over the barricade!
Matthew Rainey: “Up, up, and away Stacy goes!”
Rachael Knightly: “Wow I never knew Stacy could fly!”
Matthew Rainey: “Red Bull gives you wings!”
Shayne falls against the side of the ring and pulls herself under the bottom rope. Shayne pulls herself back out of the ring and goes back to beat up on Stacy.
Matthew Rainey: “Shayne just has to get Stacy back in the ring and make the cover at this point!”
Shayne wipes her eyes and literally sees the fans kicking and beating up Stacy, mainly the women. Shayne enjoys seeing the fans SLAP Stacy across the face. Shayne pulls Stacy and rolls her over the barricade and leaps up on top. Shayne turns her back to the ring and plays to the crowd, the fans cheering!
Rachael Knightly: “Oh no! I wonder what Shayne is going to do here!”
Shayne squats down and then leaps up, driving her foot into Stacy’s throat!
Matthew Rainey: “ OH MY GOD! STACY IS OUT! THIS MATCH IS OVER!”
Rachael Knightly: “Crushed Trachea anyone?”
Stacy coughs and continues to do so. Shayne plays to the crowd, shouting that she can do anything the other divas can do, only better! Shayne peels Stacy away from the barricade and rolls her into the ring.
Matthew Rainey: “Shayne has been dominant ever since that back body drop over the barricade! Stacy has not had the chance to recover and Shayne does not look to let up anytime soon!”
Shayne climbs to the top rope and plays to the crowd. Shayne goes for a flipping senton splash but Stacy rolls out of the way just in the knick of time!
Rachael Knightly: “Stacy had the wherewithal to get out of the way of that inverted senton splash!”
Shayne signals for “Sin City” but Stacy holds one of her legs and stands there, trying to catch her breath a little bit. Stacy pushes Shayne’s leg back and sits down dropping Shayne right on the back of her neck!
Matthew Rainey: “That’ll stop anyone! Stacy is just mean!”
Stacy rolls over and covers Shayne.

Rachael Knightly: “I can’t believe it!”
Matthew Rainey: “Neither can Stacy!”
Stacy gets up and throws a fit, shouting at the referee, and shaking him by his referee’s shirt. Shayne gets to her feet, holding the back of her neck. Shayne turns Stacy around and goes for “Sin City, this time, making good on her delivery.
Matthew Rainey: “That’s it! That has to do it!”

Lillian Garcia: “The winner of the match by pin fall! Shayne Deville!”
Shayne’s music erupts as the fans boo as loud as they can. Shayne celebrates in the ring and taunts over Stacy’s down for the count body. Shayne slaps Stacy in the face and shouts she’s the lead bitch, she’s the lead diva of the CMF.
Rachael Knightly: “I would say this is uncalled for if it was anyone but I can’t. Stacy knew in the back of her mind if Shayne won this match she would be flaunting it!”
Matthew Rainey: “Shayne is back, that’s for sure..”
Backlash cuts off to a commercial break. When the show picks up once more, it is with Stephanie and Eric, going over some contracts, a stack to Stephanie’s right growing ever higher as she tosses one to the side. Before looking at Eric.
Stephanie McMahon: “ Okay, that’s the last of them. Fired.. I love firing people… it holds such.. power… Now maybe we can set about getting things back on track.”
Eric Bischoff: “I would add Ric’s name to that, but he is a manager only.”
Stephanie McMahon: “ And that, is questionable. Speaking of questionable…Now we got to deal with these other people. I have spoken to one Diva already and she-”
Eric Bischoff: “She has to this week’s end Stephanie. Now I know you like her, but enough is enough. We can’t hold matches if these people wont participate, its simple-“
Stephanie McMahon: “ Eric don’t cut me off when I’m talking. Now if you settle down, I have two people I want you to met.”
Eric Bischoff: “ These the people you brought back to replace the ones we fired?”
Stephanie smiles, as she nods her head., Reaching for the intercom system that connects her, to her secretary>
Stephanie McMahon: “ Well. kinda. One is doing double duty. She is like my right hand.. my assistant. But she is also not afraid to take a match now and then. The other… is someone you know quite well.”
Stephanie gives the signal for the two to be brought in, and as the door opens into the room comes Haylie Dawson, looking better then ever as she gives both Eric and Stephanie a smile.
Stephanie McMahon: “ Eric, I would like you to meet, Haylie Dawson.”
Eric Bischoff: “ Yeah… I remember her now..”
Stephanie McMahon: “Haylie will be taking someone’s spot on the diva roster..”
Haylie’s British accent fills the room as she speaks.
Haylie: “ Oh I will do more then just take their spot on the roster… If my plans go right”
Eric leans up in his seat. Smiling at Haylie.
Eric Bischoff: “And just what might those plans be Haylie?”
Haylie: “Oh you know, just plans.”
Stephanie McMahon: “It doesn’t matter Eric, as long as she is willing to actually wrestle.”
Eric Bischoff: “ That is true. Well I hope to see you again, Haylie.”
Haylie: “I’m sure you will.”
Haylie then turns and exits the room, as Stephanie then turns back to look at Eric.
Stephanie McMahon: “There is also the matter of Alex’s hardcore title.. I say we strip her of it, and let two other divas have their hand at it.. It has to be defended Eric, and that is something Alex is unable to do, injured. She and I talked it over, and she has agreed..”
Eric Bischoff: “Any ideas as to who you might have in mind?”
Stephanie McMahon: “After seeing the match I just did between Shayne and Stacy.. yes. I say we give Shayne and Stacy a match next week. Those two for the hardcore title.
Eric Bischoff: “Fine by me, but what about the other woman.,., your assistant slash wrestler….. Who is she?”
Stephanie McMahon: “ Oh yeah, I almost forgot.”
Stephanie leans up, pushing a button and asking for her “assistant”. As the door opens, Eric’s eyes widen.
Stephanie McMahon: “ Eric, I want you to meet the lady who will single handily set the diva roster back right.. My assistant.. Julie DeMarco.”
Eric Bischoff: “ You got to be kidding me!”
Julie DeMarco: “Hi Eric, long time no see.”
Stunned Eric only manages to shake his head..
Stephanie McMahon: “ Julie is going to handle getting rid of these people around here who don’t seem to want to participate in things… take up space.. She can start with the ones we fired today as well as go collect the Hardcore title from Alex. Then, if by the end of the week, these others whose grace period has run up and have failed to keep their word to me.. They are gone as well. Julie will take yet one more spot, as Haylie is doing.”
Julie DeMarco: “ Oh it wont be long until I am back in the game so to speak. I got a couple divas with titles in mind to take..”
Stephanie McMahon: “ That’s what I want to hear. Now, we got a match next week between Stacy and Shayne for the hardcore title. Do you think you could go get that from Alex and bring it back here?”
Julie DeMarco: “It will be my pleasure. Eric, nice to see you again…”
Smiling, Julie leaves the room, shutting the door behind her as Stephanie looks on with a smug smile.
Stephanie McMahon: “ I think with those two hiring’s and the three others I have waiting ion the wings.. I’d say I am correcting the diva problem nicely, wouldn’t you say Eric?”
Eric Bischoff: “ Yeah… Nicely…”
Feeling proud of herself, Stephanie leans back into her chair, as the scene switches back to ringside.
Lillian Garcia: “The following is a triple threat match and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, on his way to the ring at this time, being accompanied to the ring by Paul E. Heyman… Brian Brutal!”
Brutal’s music begins to play as the fans cheer. Paul Heyman steps out from behind the black curtain and the fans cheer even louder! Brutal does a pose at the top of the ramp as a couple pyro go off. Brutal and Heyman head down to the ring, Brutal with a crowbar in hand.
Matthew Rainey: “Who the heck let Brian Brutal in the arena with a crowbar?”
Rachael Knightly: “I’m sure someone tried to stop him and I am sure that same someone is at the hospital for his attempt.”
Brutal and Heyman get into the ring and play to the crowd.
Lillian Garcia: “And his first opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Dream McMahon… The Sick and the Twisted… Nicholas Beausoleil!”
Nick’s music begins to play as Dream steps out and does this whole show before throwing her hands back at the curtain. Nick makes a grand entrance with the Lightweight Title over his shoulder. Dream hooks her arm under Nick’s and the two head down to the ring as happy as can be.
Rachael Knightly: “Those two look so happy, too bad Nick’s cheating on her.”
Matthew Rainey: “What the Hell? What would make you assume something so horrible? Nick and Dream are like Alex and I.”
Dream and Nick get into the ring and play to the crowd, however they get boo’d by the fans and Brian Brutal eggs the fans on.
Lillian Garcia: “And the final participant in the match… on his way to the ring at this time… he is The Franchise… TRAVIS GRIFFIN!”
Travis’ music begins to play but Brutal demands a microphone.
Brian Brutal : “Cut the damn music! Hold the phone! Are you kidding me? I am not facing Cassidy this week? Now the CMF is telling me one opponent and giving me another?”
Paul Heyman grabs the microphone.
Paul Heyman : “I’m sorry Brian, I did not think you would take the match if you knew you were facing a has been like Travisty. I know how picky you are and you know I only have your best interest at heart.”
Brian Brutal shakes Paul Heyman’s hand as Nick and Dream make a gagging expression. Travis emerges, a look of anger on his face as he darts down to the ring as fast as he can. Travis gets into the ring and plows right through Brutal with a big boot!
Matthew Rainey: “How insulting! Paul Heyman lied to his client Brian Brutal so he would take a match with the CMF’s first ever Grand Slam Champion, because he’s beneath Brutal. This is outrageous!”
Nick pulls Travis off of Brutal and gets right in his face! Nick turns to Brutal and lays on the pain with several hard boots to the ribs! Nick drops his knee over Brutal’s head and grinds it as deep as he can before Travis yanks Nick off and throws him off the ropes. Nick comes back and delivers a huge flipping lariat!
Matthew Rainey: “What an explosive match!”
Travis rolls out of the ring as Brutal catches Nick from behind and goes for a clothesline. Nick throws an elbow back and catches Brutal in the jaw. Nick hooks Brutal into a front face headlock and shouts that he’s going to break his neck.
Matthew Rainey: “Nick will do it too! He’s sick!”
Brutal lifts Nick up and throws him back with a suplex. Nick gets to his feet and staggers around. Nick regains his composure and goes right after Brian Brutal. Brutal catches Nick with a clothesline and plays to the crowd for a bit. Nick gets to his feet and take Brutal to the mat with a double leg takedown!
Matthew Rainey: “Nick showing his wrestling skills, must have just learned them. Usually he is just trying to punch and throw his opponent’s around the ring like a mad man.”
Rachael Knightly: “Go with whatever works, right?”
Nick rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Nick shoves Travis into the ring as a distraction.
Matthew Rainey: “Nobody can ever say Nick is not a smart man. All he has to do is keep an eye on the match while he catches his breath.”
Rachael Knightly: “How cheap… you see too much of this in the CMF, people always trying to take the easy way out.”
Brutal pounces on Travis and shouts “YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CASSIDY!” over and over again. Brutal beats the crap out of Travis and then gets up and throws his arms in the air all angry and stuff. Brutal bounces off the ropes and comes back with a hard kick right to the lower back of Travis, sending him outside the ring.
Matthew Rainey: “That’s for coming, see you again next time Travis!”
Nick slides in the ring behind Brutal and takes him down with a chop block.
Rachael Knightly: “Oh of all the underhanded things to do in a match!”
Nick stays behind Brutal as he gets back to his feet. Nick dives at the same knee and takes Brutal down again with a chop block.
Matthew Rainey: “They just keep on coming and Brutal just keeps on fallin’! I love it!”
Nick bounces off the ropes and drives his knee into the face of Brian Brutal. Nick makes the cover over Brutal.

Brutal manages to get his shoulder up.
Matthew Rainey: “Just seconds away from winning this match!”
Nick lifts Brutal to his feet and shoots him off the ropes. Nick leans over and Brutal comes back and kicks him right in the face.
Rachael Knightly: “That’s should knock some sense into Nick!”
Nick gets to his feet as Brutal goes to capitalize. Nick thumbs Brutal in the eye and takes him down with a headlock takeover. Brutal counters quickly with a leg scissors, trying to choke Nick out. Nick fights it and eventually kicks out and rolls up to his feet. Brutal charges Nick, but Nick ducks around and comes back with a chop block!
Matthew Rainey: “The more he does that the more I love it! Long live the chop block!”
Nick goes for a single leg crab, but Brutal fights out of it and gets to the ropes, forcing Nick to back away. Brutal gets to his feet goes to splash into Nick. Nick pulls the referee in his place and ducks out of the way!
Rachael Knightly: “Nick has been the innovator of cheap wrestling tactics here tonight!”
Nick runs behind Brutal and delivers a reverse neck breaker and goes for the cover.

Brutal manages to kick out after the count of two.
Matthew Rainey: “Near fall by Nick! I have this feeling that Nick is going to take this match and Brutal is going to be the one pinned!”
Nick lifts Brutal to his feet and goes for the “Sick’n’Twisted” but Brutal counters out of it and scoops Nick up. Brutal dumps Nick outside of the ring as the crowd goes wild.
Rachael Knightly: “Brutal taking out the trash!”
Travis gets into the ring and Brutal turns around catching him. Brutal shouts at Travis that he’s supposed to be Cassidy once again and then takes him over the top rope with a clothesline. Brutal shouts at Travis for a few as Nick slides into the ring. Brutal slowly turns around and walks into a huge spinning back elbow by Nick.
Matthew Rainey: “Nick taking Brutal down and getting back into this match!”
Nick makes the cover as the referee slowly begins to come to.

Brutal manages to kick out.
Matthew Rainey: “That referee needs to shape up! Nick clearly had the match won right there and every last one of these retarded fans saw it!”
Nick lifts Brutal up and signals for the “Sick’n’Twisted” but Brutal battles out and goes for the “Brutalizer”. Travis slides into the ring and runs into Brutal and sends Nick out of the ring in the process. Brutal turns around and throws several right hands and right as it looks like Travis is going to start battling back, out of nowhere, Brutal delivers the “Brutalizer”.
Matthew Rainey: “Brutalizer! Nick get up! Get up! Get in the ring!”
Brian Brutal covers.

Nick sees the cover being made and dives into the ring.

Nick is too late to save the match! Brutal gets up and drops Nick with “The Brutalizer” as Paul Heyman gets into the ring and the two of them have a little celebration.
Matthew Rainey: “Nick was screwed! He so clearly broke up the cover! Eric Bischoff needs to hire new referees!”
Rachael Knightly: “Brian Brutal once again picks up the victory!”
Nick gets to his feet as Brutal and Heyman head back to the backstage area. Drummer Dragonali comes from the crowd and spins Nick around and drops him with “The Off-Beat”. Eric Bischoff comes out with a microphone, being followed by CMF Security.
Eric Bischoff : “That’s it! That’s it! Drummer, I have had about enough of you! You have gone over the line!”
Jason walks out with a microphone in hand and calls the CMF security back.
Jason Beausoleil : “Hold it right there Eric, Drummer has every right to be in that ring. As a matter a fact I approve of him not giving up. I have respect for his focus and determination to tear my brother in half. I respect it so much that I sent a contract to Seattle and he sent it back signed! Now Drummer can kick the crap out of Nick and it is all legal!”
The fans cheer as Bischoff begins to argue with Jason.
Matthew Rainey: “No! Jason! What have you done?”
Rachael Knightly: “DRUMMER HAS A CONTRACT! So long Nick!”
Backlash cuts off to a commercial break. As the show resumes, we see Stephanie McMahon alongside Jeremy as she prepares to head out for her match. Jeremy giving her last minute words as a shadow crosses over the couple, causing them to turn. There they see Maria, who with Randy beside her, is smiling cockily.
Stephanie: “ Shouldn’t you be heading to the ring Maria, we do have our match next”.
Flipping her long brown hair back from her face, she looks quickly down at her womens title, before facing Stephanie once more.
Maria: “ I was Steph, I really was.. But then Randy and I spoke and well… he made me see that facing you is just not worth my time.I had them call it off.”
Stephanie’s eyes widen as Jeremy also looks on stunned. Then without warning, Stephanie lunges at Maria, only being stopped at the last second by Jeremy.
Stephanie: “ Just who do you think you are Maria?.”
Her eyes then turn to Randy who by now is backing away from the brawl that is sure to happen.
Stephanie: “ AND YOU!!!”.
Randy: “ Now hold on Steph, Maria just got things mixed up a little.”
Jeremy replies, still trying to hold onto a livid Stephanie.
Jeremy: “ You think so Randy?!?”
Jerking free of Jeremy, Stephanie moves over to stand beside Maria.
Stephanie: “ So you called if off ………… afraid I just might show you up?.”
Maria’s eyes go to rest on Jeremy, her smile now full of adoration.
Maria: “ Oh no, not that.. I did for Jeremy… and for Randy… See you around Steph.. Oh, and consider this your one time getting off the hook with me… See you later boys.”
And on that note, Maria turns and leaves. Stephanie, her eyes blazing staring after her in shocked silence as the show takes its final break..
Johnny Nitro is shown coming out of his locker room with Melina at his side. Melina runs off screaming as Jeremy and Randy assault one half of the world tag team champions. Nitro takes a beating from Randy and Jeremy. Randy lifts up Nitro and slams his head off the wall and drags him over to a ledge. Jason Beausoleil comes walking over shouting at Randy. Randy stands there, too confused and too stoned to understand what Jason is saying.
Jason Beausoleil : “What do you think you are doing?! He is one half of the tag team champions, Randy!”
Randy Orton: “I wanted the night off and so did Jeremy. We were on our way to find Tank but you babbling is sort of holding us up.”
Jason Beausoleil : “You ruined the main event! You ruined one half of the CMF Tag Team Champions!”
An CMF Medic walks up and whispers something into Jason’s ear. Jason becomes even madder as he looks at Randy Orton.
Randy Orton: “Listen, I’m sorry these fans won’t get their Legend Killer Fix and they won’t get the chance to see me pound a couple of idiots with Jeremy, but we really needed the night off.”
Jason Beausoleil : “Orton… SHUT UP!”
Orton looks outraged with the tone Jason is getting with him.
Jason Beausoleil : “You just injured one half of the tag team champions! You cost the CMF A LOT OF MONEY! We have no main event!”
A stagehand brings Nitro’s half of the tag team titles to Jason.
Jason Beausoleil : “Great, nobody is going to pay to see a one man tag team and no telling when Nitro is going to be back to 100% and ready to defend.”
Jason stares at Orton. Orton’s eyes widen as he shakes his head and waves his hand.
Randy Orton: “NO! I REFUSE! YOU CANNOT MAKE ME! I will drop that title the second you give it to me!”
Jason Beausoleil : “No you won’t! You aren’t even going to officially be one of the tag team champions. You are going to fill in for Nitro until he is 100% and ready to start competing and defending the tag team titles. I don’t want to hear any lip from you or I’ll dock your pay and I might just fire you if you bitch enough.”
Randy laughs, loudly.
Randy Orton: “Ha! You won’t fire me, I make more money for you and Eric then all of the other men and women in the locker room combined.”
Jason Beausoleil : “Try me…”
Jason shoves the tag title in Randy’s chest and walks off. Jeremy peaks his head around the corner and shakes his head as he looks up at Randy.
Jeremy Wilson : “Dude… Jason’s pissed at you!”
Randy Orton: “Dude shut up!”
Jeremy Wilson : “Yeah you have been through enough… I mean you are now Tank’s temporary tag team partner.”
Randy Orton: “Why me? You were assaulting him with me!”
Jeremy Wilson : “Yeah but I didn’t throw him off a ten foot ledge dude.”
Randy nods.
Randy Orton: (smiling) “Okay… I did do that!”
Jeremy Wilson : “Don’t worry about it, we shall go talk to Steph.. she will soert all this out.”
Randy Orton: Sine when am I worried, I can do as I want.. When I want and this worthless title…. Isn’t going to play a part in anything I do”.
Backlash cuts off the air.
