My First Cabbage Patch

The year I was born was the year of the cabbage. I was not able to fully experience the madness of the cabbage patch rush that year as I was only about the size of a cabbage patch. I received my first cabbage patch in 1985 I think. Unfortunately, I cannot say for sure that Helena Beth (shown above) was actually my first cabbage patch. You see, I was also fortunate enough to have a cabbage patch baby named Tina. Tina was a number 4 headmould bald baby. I do not remember whether I received Helena Beth or Tina first. Sadly, as a child I gave Tina away so I consider Helena to be my first cabbage patch. I miss Tina tremendously and wherever she is I hope she is with a child that loves her! I loved Helena very much as a child and I still love her today! I should also mention that Helena has a twin named Simon Leland. The reason I do not consider Simon Leland to be one of my first cabbage patchs is because he actually belonged to my brother at first for many years. You see, when my mom bought the dolls for my brother and I, I was given the girl and he was given the boy. However, I currently take care of Simon because my brother outgrew him long ago.
