The AVM website

Hello and welcome to my AVM page! I myself am an AVM survivor (check here for my story), which gave me the idea to create this page to go with my fundraiser for AVM research and awareness. The site continues to get better and better (slowly), but I still have a major lack of time thing happening (mostly due to my being in university/college), but keep checking back for more developments and thanks for your support!

WE HAVE A NEW LOOK!!
Having now moved back home to Oakville and discovering that this means that I have a bunch of extra time on my hands, I have decided to clean up the website a little. I hope that now things will be easier for everyone to find, without all that crazy scrolling that was necessary in the months gone by. Comments? Suggestions? Please let me know! Email me at avm_foundation@hotmail.com with any feedback. Thanks, and I hope that you will keep checking back for more new and exciting developments!

March 21st, 2006 - New publication out, with my story on the front page! Click here to check it out!

"Walk Cuz You Can" to support AVM Foundation to happen again this year at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Oakville. As it was such a smashing success in September 2005, the AVM Foundation's "Walk Cuz You Can" will be happening again for September 2006! Click here for details.

My story
The infamous article that I had written back when this whole saga was only just beginning... Complete with frequent updates and news flashes! Enjoy!
Most recent update: December 30th, 2006

AVM Info Page
This is an info page about what AVM is and what it does.

Life with an AVM
This is a little blurb about what life with an AVM is like, it's not much yet but my spare time is still somewhat limited, so hopefully stuff will be added to it soon!

Additional Information
If you want to find additional information about AVM, check out these websites!

Angel preview page
I have added a new page! This one has pictures of some of the angels that I fundraise with. Not all of the angels are on here, only a few, but at least I hope that this might give you all an idea what the angels looks like. Hope you all like it!

On Tuesday February 15th, 2005 my mom (Darlene) and I went in to The Hospital For Sick Children to give them the next cheque for the AVM Foundation. It was for a significant amount of money, which will be used by Dr.Gabrielle deVeber to fund research into the paediatric stroke area (which will, in turn, also benefit AVM research, as the two are directly related).
Click here to check out the photograph of us giving them the cheque!!

A publication called "The Challenger" has just recently been released, with my story on the front two pages! Click here to check it out!

We now have...
A guestbook! So please sign and let me know what you think of the site, of my story, or share your stories! Another thing, please let me know if you would like your story put up on the site here, I'll email you back and maybe we can get a whole network thing going here pretty soon!
