 Yes, humor and laughter are vital to life on the earth and beyond. They create a space, give pause if you will between the incidents on the earth and their impact. That is to say, regardless of circumstances there is always time to stand back, observe and have a good laugh. The laughter is a clearing energy. It wipes away the cobwebs and gives new perspective to any situation. Once the observer realizes and is cognizant that no one is truly at home there is permission to get over the hurt, pain, anger and sadness feelings. So laughter is also a bridge from so called negativity to positive feelings.

Laughter is also a spontaneous self recognition. It is a burst of bliss of being and feelings of joy and living out loud. Laughter is an exclamation point to the mundane commas of everyday living. It is a peak experience and a way to get beyond being peaked. We in spirit advocate laughter as a path to enlightenment and lightening up. As G.K. Chesterton has said, "the reason that angels fly is because they take themselves lightly."
Know there is no circumstance or possibility of life or death that is inappropriate for laughter. It is only judgment that suspends laughter, reins in natural merriment and suppresses true knowing. Laughter is truly the music of the angels and music to our ears.
