Information on running events in the Ithaca, NY area. The FLRC puts on very good road races and track meets. Indoor track meets are held in Barton Hall on the Cornell campus.
Syracuse Chargers Track Club
Information on running in the Syracuse, NY area.
This is a top-notch club with great meets. If your school does not have Indoor Track as an official sport, you could actually run in more winter meets by attending FLRC and Syracuse Chargers indoor events. Indoor track meets are held in Manley Field House on the SU campus.
Triple Cities Runners Club
Information on running in the Binghamton, NY area. This club sponsors a number of road races and even has a Grand Prix
Runners World Magazine
The oldest distance running magazine in the country, although it was much better in the late 1960's to early 1970's. Emulating the style of USA Today has hurt content. While reading this magazine remember that the information is geared toward the over-40 recreational runner. Realize that they are also beholding to their advertisers.
Running Times Magzine
Another popular magazine about distance running. Good results listing, though the magazine tends to push its advertiser's products.

This site actually has the state meet on film, and you can watch the races right over the internet. Go to the archives section and look for the month you want. You many need to download a free video player from Mircrosoft in order to watch the films. This site works best with Internet Explorer.
