I grew up in a cowboy lifestyle with a dad training horses and a mom always pushing us to do our best. Since both parents rope we had no chance of not roping. I have been roping since I could hold a rope and I have not put the rope down. I am blessed with a talent and family and endless friends that support my roping habit. I have lifetime partners with Trena (sister), Teejay (son), and Hunter (niece). They never mind loading up the truck and trailer to head out on the road to rope. Even though the kids are not old enough to compete, they are always cheering me and Trena on the loudest. You would not believe the places we have been or the people we have met on the road. Teamroping is a sport for women, children, and men of all shapes, sizes, and ages. This sport is growing in popularity every year by leaps and bounds. I hope that anyone who finds an interest in the sport let's it grow to a love! I am a proud supporter of teamroping for several reasons.
