JAN 18, 1989 -- William Kahn, who was director of marketing activities for Manson Intl. for five years, has launched a new marketing/sales services firm, Market to Market, whose aim is to assist in arranging and supervising participation in film, tv and video markets and in festivals throughout the world.

Walt Disney Co. chairman/CEO Michael Eisner earner $40.2 million in 1988 to remain one fo the nation’s highest-paid execs, per an Associated Press report. In addition to his $750,000 salry, he realized a $32.5-million from a stock option program and received a $6.8-million bonus.

Robert De Niro is renovating the old Martinson Coffee Building in New York’s Greenwich Village. In addition to film studios and a screening room, De Niro plans a restaurant/nightclub. Carlos Almada, architected who designed Gotham hotspot M.K., is reported to be working with De Niro on the project.
