Are you sitting down? Today, we lost beloved Broadway and television actor and talented vocalist, Ms. Nell Carter. You may remember her from her sassy nanny role in the 80's sitcom, "Gimme a Break." Let us all take a moment to reflect on what Nell meant to us. My favorite memory of Nell is the episode where the obnoxious kid with the braces gets a hamster and it runs in its wheel night and day and the incessant squeaking drives Nell to oil the hinges, poisoning the hamster.
