Lindsays Bio -

 

Lindsay Korman was born on April 17th 1978, Southern California. From an early age Lindsay showed an immense talent for performing. This led to her winning the pre-teen 'Young Miss America' award. Lindsay was also finding that her true talent lied also with singing, and at the young age of 14, she was snapped up to play the role of Dorothy on the musical 'The Wizard of Oz.'

By age 17 Lindsay was considered the youngest singer to ever make a headline on Vegas, by performing in 'Viva Las Vegas.' From her musical performances, Lindsay has won many vocal talent awards including 'Los Angeles Philharmonics Vocal Opera Award.' After being part of the ensemble and under-study for the character Sandy on the production 'Grease,' with the help of a friend she was able to audition for the role of 'Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald,' on 'Passions'. It took a few call-backs, but inevitability prevailed and Lindsay landed a role which was truly deserved. Along with her bag of awards from singing and pageants, Lindsay was nominataed for 'Best Newcomer In Daytime Televison,' for her role as 'Theresa' in Passions.


Eventually, Lindsay wants to go in the same direction as her peers, like Will Smith and Jennifer Lopez, by developing both an acting and a musical career.

She has already worked with Beck, Hootie and the Blowfish, Jackie Jackson, Japanese superstar Yoshiki, and former teen idol Dino. Despite a demanding schedule, Korman manages to lend her talents to worthy causes including AIDS and Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns. Lindsay resides in Los Angeles and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding horses and playing with Princess, her miniature Shetland Sheep dog, Nikki, her Pomeranian and Simon her Pomeranian/Chihuaha!

Eating choclate, she believes everything should have choclate on it, her favourite ice-cream being chocolate swirl! Her favourite movie is 'Gone With The Wind,' and she has idolised many actors/actresses including Al Pacino. She also enjoys playing tennis to keep fit.
