Segment 1
Linda- This is Speaker Linda Polley! It's August 12th, 2,004, and "Here's Jesus!" Nazarene, another question along the same lines as segment 3 of yesterday's episode. As you know, everyone recently learned John Lennon's now ex wife Yoko Ono openly supports gay marriage. Is it still proper to buy the music John did in his lifetime where she has some control over it now?
Nazarene- Difficult question, Alura! It would depend if she is using the proceeds from this money to support homosexual activity, definitely not! People should not be buying this music. It would be very inappropriate! God would forbid. And I don't see where there would be any possibility that she is not using the money gained from this music to support homosexual activity, if she is doing what you say. I do not believe anyone who professes a belief in me could in any way, now purchase this music. It would be completely inappropriate. I would ask any that follow me not to, for the sake of this world's children, who she is betraying by supporting this evil. It would be ironic, Alura, that the music of the one who has saved mankind would be used to destroy mankind. Somehow it does not seem right. How can things get so messed up, Alura? How can people get so depraved? I would have to say no, I would have to ask people not to buy this music for the sake of the world's children. How sad! How terribly, terribly sad!
Linda- I suppose this also includes what he did before he met Yoko too, right Nazarene? This IS sad because everyone loves The Beatles' music so much!
Nazarene- It is hard, Alura, but if this woman, this foul creature, is using the proceeds from this music to destroy children, to destroy their Souls, to sodomize them, people should not buy it. It is very, very sad, but people have to do what's right. We have to cut off the money going to these people, we have to cut off the support to their evil. And if this money is going to their support we have to say no! Don't buy this music! Don't destroy your children! This evil creature has caused this situation, not Us. We HAVE to act!
Linda- We'll be back after the break!
Segment 2
Linda- We're back! Nazarene, our friend Elgard just keeps the questions coming in! Now he sends this question. "Concerning wife swapping, on The Old Worlds in the Spiritist Republic, consent is all it took; correct?"
Nazarene- There are, Elgard, minor things We disagree with with those in The Republic. Some of Their ancient practices were not exactly things We would promote today. What one society deems appropriate is not necessarily what another society would deem appropriate. But They did not wife swap, as you say. True, members of The Republic had three wives, and when they had male guests that had no female companion they sometimes let one of the wives comfort him. I would not call this wife swapping. It is not a practice that those in The Republic openly support today. But it is something They do recognize that Their Ancestors did that was part of Their culture. They believed that women needed companionship with the opposite sex just as much as men did, and that it was wrong to deny a woman's needs while fulfilling a man's needs. Not quite something We would ever fully agree on, but it is not something that would drive Us apart. Those of The Republic were very keen to be sure that a wife was not forced to do these things, that it was of her own free will and as much her desire as the visitor's desire. That a wife could say no and that no punishment or displeasure would occur. It is definitely a fundamental difference in culture. Any such thing among Our people was completely forbidden! Any extra marital relations in The Kingdom Of God were punishable by death, the perpetrators were burned alive. There are going to be, Elgard, some differences in culture that among allies can never quite be reconciled, that can never quite be accepted by one side of the partnership. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with that. Sometimes some people simply can't accept something other people can, and they have to set those things aside and work together for the common good, letting other people quietly do their way and not make a big fuss about it. I hope I have made some kind of sense in this matter. It is a difficult one, but we manage it.
Linda- Hmmm, but now isn't it different in The Kingdom Of God, Nazarene? Didn't you say men There can have more than one wife, or companion?
Nazarene- We are not talking about more than one wife or companion, Alura, we are talking about sharing such. There is a difference, there is QUITE a difference!
Linda- We'll be back after the break!
Segment 3
Linda- We're back! Nazarene, somebody sent us a rather interesting prayer delivered by the Rev. Joe Wright at the beginning of the Kansas legislature. Rather interesting comments! It is said some of the senators and representatives walked out in protest, as the sermon was being delivered, and that the good Reverend received many negative comments saying that his prayer was too confrontational. What is your opinion on this prayer? Here's a link to it. http://www.centralcc.org/joe.html
Nazarene- I think, Alura, this is a very sincere and righteous man! Though he is misguided on abortion he spoke out strongly against physically attacking those who support it, and this impressed me greatly. I can have no complaint with anything else he said, whatsoever. It is the plain and unvarnished truth! He dared to speak the way of God and of course men condemn him for it! They have filled the airwaves with obscenities, they have failed to discipline their children, they let them run wild and hurt others in the name of self expression. I do not know if he mentioned that some support the selling of poison to children. Perhaps the only thing this message is lacking. But aside from that, it is an excellent expression of truth, and I am so glad to see it is being spread! Men and women are passing it around. As for those who walked out while the truth was being expressed, they also walked out of The Kingdom Of God. When they refused to hear the utterance of the word of God they refused The Kingdom Of God. I can imagine what these foul creatures support, what is in their hearts, and what they do in private, which is counted against them just as much as what they do in public! No evil is hidden from me, nothing can be kept from my knowledge when someone stands before me, they tell me all that is true, even if they know it damns them. For they know it is useless to lie to me. I praise this man of God, Alura! I wish very much you and Demetrius could meet him, and he could have your council and truly understand God's Way, that the falsity of man could be removed from his Soul and he would become an even greater servant than he is now. You never know, Alura! Some day it may come to be.
Linda- Fantastic, Nazarene! Glad you like it! Some stuff my old friends send me is priceless! I try to check them all out in case I need to pass them on to others.
Nazarene- As you should do, Alura! As you should do!
Linda- We'll be back tomorrow!
