Linda- This is Speaker Linda Polley! It's September 9th, 2,007, and "Here's Jesus!" Temporarily featuring God! This first segment was originally released January 23rd, 2,003!

Linda- Nazarene, continuing on the matter of taxation, do You believe in inharitence taxes that, that people have to pay the government in order to receive what their fathers and mothers saved for them?

Nazarene- Absolutely not, Alura! Inheritance taxes are the most foul and cruel of all taxes! And anyone who supports them steals from widows and orphans! And there can be no fouler, or dispisable creature on earth than those who steal from the helpless and the innocent! People work all their lives for the little bit they put away to give to their children. And when the government comes and steals half of it, or, more, it is wrong! Yes, a small fee can be charged for the registration of title, but that's all that a person should have to do to inherit! And this fee should be no more than the hourly salary of the clerk doing the processing of that transfer! 'Heritance taxes are cruel, and, dispisable, and those that support them are the worst things on Earth! They will do anything for money, anything for power! They will take from the dead, and stealing from the dead is one of the most foul things that The Kingdom Of God condemns people for! You must understand how We feel, how sacred a person's property is and how much We support those who work all their lives to give something to their children. No! Inheritance taxes are evil, and they should be stopped! They must be stopped! They are totally against everything that Those in The Kingdom Of God believe in!

Linda- Good, Nazarene! We have never thought those taxes were right! I hope some day they'll get rid of those things forever!

Nazarene- As both our societies are against this appalling idea, Alura, I don't think it has much chance in the future!

Linda- We're back! God, a lot of people don't like internal revenue agents. Will they have any trouble getting into The Kingdom Of God?

God- They don't have trouble, usually, getting into The Kingdom Of God, Alura. They have a lot of trouble staying there! Ah, Demetrius has personally sent a couple of them to hell that, ah, did some nasty business to some friends of his. But as long as they're only doing their job, as long as they're doing what the law requires them to do, and not going outside of that, and not taking advantage of their position to, ah, extort money from others, and things, ah, they do quite well! Most of them do all right. There are a few of them like in any profession, that ah, do things that are completely beyond what they are allowed to do, and they take great advantage of other people and, they abuse other people. And these don't last long at all, especially with people like Demetrius and others keeping a very careful watch on them, and sending the ones that ah, don't do their job properly to very unpleasant places, very unpleasant places indeed! But as long as they just do their job, Alura, they're o.k.!

Linda- I'm glad to know that Demetrius won't be after all of them, God!

God- That certainly would keep him busy, Alura! That certainly would keep him busy! And We've got other things for him to do!
