Jewels of the Quill is a group of award-winning women authors. We write in 45 categories of fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Among the 12 authors in the group, we've had over 350 books published by 87 publishers. We've won or finaled for almost 220 awards. Our books are available in mass market paperback, trade paperback, hardcover, electronic, Large Print, and audio formats. In short, we offer something for every reader.

from Margaret L. Carter (Dame Onyx), Judith B. Glad (Dame Alexandrite), Jane Toombs (Dame Turquoise), Janet Lane Walters (Dame Amber), and Karen Wiesner (Dame Amethyst).
New sales for: Margaret L. Carter (Dame Onyx) has sold an erotic paranormal ghost romance novella called "Sweeter Than Wine" to Ellora's Cave for their Exotika line, to be released July 24, 2009 in electronic formats. Karen Wiesner (Dame Amethyst) has sold the Kaleidoscope Series collection, a compilation of the first five novellas in the series that Karen contributed to Jewels of the Quill anthologies, plus two bonus stories never before published! Coming December 2010 from Whiskey Creek Press in trade paperback and electronic formats. Karen has also sold WHITE RAINBOW, the sixth and final of her Wounded Warriors Series, an inspirational romance, to Uncial Press. The book will be available in trade paperback and electronic formats the summer of 2010. Janet Lane Walters (Dame Amber) has sold her Katherine Miller Mystery series to DiskUs Publishing. Books 1-3 will be reissued in electronic and paperback formats. Release dates TBA. Book 4 will be released soon by DiskUs in both download and print formats. Judith B. Glad (Dame Alexandrite) has sold A STRANGE LITTLE BAND (women's fiction) to Uncial Press. To be released October 2009 in electronic formats. Jane Toombs (Dame Turquoise) has sold a sweet romance novella called "Two Hearts and a Crow" to Freya's Bower. Coming in electronic formats TBA.
Jane Toombs (Dame Turquoise) had two of her books--ONCE AN OUTCAST and "Unwise"--win The Romance Studio's 5 Sweetheart Award, given to books that receive 5 star reviews. THE FLAME has also been nomimated for the award. Karen Wiesner (Dame Amethyst) had DANCE IN SHADOWS, Book 9 of her Incognito Series, nominated for The Romance Studio's 5 Sweetheart Award.
Three Jewels of the Quill authors finaled in the 2008 Dream Realm Awards. Judith B. Glad (Dame Alexandrite) finaled in the cover art category with PHANTOM OF THE OPERETTA. Dee Lloyd (Dame Aquamarine) finaled in the speculative fiction romance category with OUT OF HER DREAMS. Karen Wiesner (Dame Amethyst) finaled in the anthology category with WOODCUTTER'S GRIM SERIES.
Winners will be announced August 15, 2009.
