A Strange Little Band Like many writers, Judith B. Glad has led an interesting life, with jobs varying from fry cook to Coca-Cola bottler, with assorted detours in-between. With her children in school, she decided it was time for her to follow her own dreams, so she went back to school and studied botany. After completing her M.S., she became a botanical consultant, and spent the next twenty-odd years picking flowers for a living. One slow winter Judith decided to spend a little time at her second career choice. She wrote a book. And another, and... Before she knew it, she was spending more time writing than picking flowers. Judith's dream came true when she sold THE QUEEN OF CHERRY VALE. It was the first in her historical romance Behind the Ranges Series, the title of which is based on the Kipling poem, The Explorer. Writing as Jaye Watson, because she doesn't want her grandchildren to know what dark and bloody thoughts she harbors in her heart of hearts, Judith plots new and different ways to kill off the people who cut in front of her in grocery lines and crowd her on the freeway. Two Jaye Watson stories available from Uncial Press include Can She Bake A Cherry Pie? and God Rest Ye, Mary. Judith also writes erotic romance as Annice Dare. She started collecting erotica a long time ago, when Santa Claus brought her a very thick book titled Erotic Poetry. Intrigued, she went looking for more of the same.
