Whats the biggest reward thus far in your career? The relationships made with parents and students. 4.What is a starting salary? $33,000-34,000 5. What kind of hours do you work? 8am-5pm 6. What kinds of skills do you need to work in your profession? People skills, creativeness, oraganization. 7. On a scale of 1-10 how stressful do you rate teaching? Nine. 8. How long did you go to school to become a teacher? Five to six years. 9. What is the most stressful time of year? The end of the school year. 10. How much work do you take home. Not very much, but I stay longer at school than I used to when I taught fifth and sixth grade.
