*Pointe shoes are only danced in by women.
*They are usually tied up with ribbons. Coming soon - a guide on how to tie up ribbons.
*Most people start pointes at aged 11-12. Starting any younger would damage the feet as the bones are not developed properly yet.
* The regular colour of pointe shoes is a peachy-pink satin colour.
*For performances pointe shoes can be dyed different colours to match the outfit.
