David got his back brace off on Monday and they gave him the O.K. to schedule the surgery to repair his intestines.  There is a preliminary test he has to do which is scheduled for mid-November.  As long as that turns out ok, they will schedule the actual surgery.  He said it felt really great to have it off.

Lisa again was in great spirits.  The family friend and hair dresser , Grace, came to St Mary's tonight to wash and cut her hair for her.  Even though Lisa is unaware of a lot of things right now, I believe she still knows what it is like to do "girl" things. She like to get her hair washed and put up and knows she needs to clean her face and enjoys having makeup or even just lip gloss put on.
