This is the 5th in a series of 5 albums The Strangers would release.
"Totally Instrumental" would usher in a new wave of Haggard fans with this gem!
The original Capitol© LP (11 tracks) was superbly mastered and produced. Each and every track compliments the other perfectly.
The Bear Family© would later release the last 3 tracks on their "Hag Concepts-Live & The Strangers". I for one am thankful Capitol decided not to include vocalist Bobby Wayne's "When My Conscience Takes Over" and "There You Go Again". I've never been a fan of hearing Merle's band without him singing. The one exception was Johnny Paycheck's 1981 album "Mr. Hag Told My Story" where The Strangers did all of the background picking.
"Totally Instrumental" is a true masterpiece and is a must for any fan of Country Music.
