CASA YOSES VIDEOSThese videos are derived from digital camcorder footage taken Oct 1-2, 2005 at Casa Yoses hostel in the Los Yoses district of San Jose, Costa Rica. The original footage has a framesize of 720x480 and was transferred to a computer as DV Type 1. Using Windows Media Encoder, the footage was downsized to 320x240 and the bitrate reduced from 8000kbps to 366kbps and converted to wmv format in order to allow these files to be uploaded to this website and easily accessed.
The videos are divided into 2 groups. One group-named Hostel Tour-is a tour of Casa Yoses-its grounds and rooms, and the other group-named Dinner Party-shows social activity at the hostel. However, due to space limitations, the Hostel Tour videos are not accessible here, but some videos are available at www.angelfire.com/realm3/casayoses. Moreover, any Dinner Party video with green lettering is also not presently accessible. Left-clicking on a video link should cause Windows Media Player on your computer to play the video.
