You should attempt to contact your utility company (NSTAR: 800-592-2000) first before contacting the DTE

at 617-305-3531 or 1-800-392-6066(toll free), (fax: 617-478-2591).

You can use the DTE emailable Question/Complaint Form or our printable Question/Complaint Form when you are ready to submit a complaint or question.

Or you can email your consumer complaint against a Massachusetts utility company to the DTE :
consumer.complaints@state.ma.us

Be sure to include your name, telephone number, company name, and a brief description of the complaint. We can only accept complaints by Massachusetts residents
