STANDARD SHOW POSES:
It's simple guys, ok? LOL, I'm not all psycho strict in the beginning dogz/catz shows, but anythin above NEEDS TO BE IN THE RIGHT POSE!! So basically, in the beginning showz your dog can look like this:
Notice how on the left, you can see all four legs and on the right her head is facing more towards the front? These are things that deduct points in the other showz, but in the beginning showz, I'm not going to deduct too much unless your pet looks extremely-- well, WRONG.
This is an example of a GOOD show pose! Not the best, but VERY GOOD. Notice how the chest is up, the tail is up and slightly curved in and you can only see the two camera view legs? You can only see one eye and the under tummy is tucked in.
This is another good show pose except you can see part of the legs. This pose with the face facing front is ONLY allowed with the exception of Dalmations, or breedz hexed from the dalmation because they tend to pose this way.
A friend sent me this picture so it's not my cat. But anyway, see how her back two legs are far apart and the front two are together so it looks like one? And her tail is straight up eyes are open and her chin is up. That's the cat pose.
