Summary written by Vicki

This is an ancient costume drama. Ching Ching and So So are both snakes that have the power to become humans because they have earned the power over years of hard work. So So is roughly 1000 years old white snake and Ching Ching is only a couple hundred years old green snake.. Ching Ching is playful and mischievous whereas So So is mature and calm. They live together on Ling Say San (Snake Mountain) and they are very much like sisters. Their life is peaceful until one day Ling Dan stumbles into their lives.

Ling Dan is at Snake Mountain in search for his pre-arranged bride by his deceased mother. He accidentally stumbles over Ching Ching while she is a snake. To get back at him she devises a plan to pretend that she is the bride that he is searching for. And so begins the love, pain, and heartache that all three characters have never experienced before.

Ching Ching and So So both begin to fall in love with Ling Dan. Ling Dan is a doctor and both are very helpful to him in his practice. Ling Dan is a very indecisive and weak man. He loves Ching Ching more but he is unable to tell So So how he really feels. He’s afraid that he will hurt her. Ching Ching wants Ling Dan to tell So So too but she is also afraid that they will heart So So her “cha cha”(big sister). By this point Ling Dan and Ching Ching have already consummated their relationship.

So So begins to pick up on the tension between Ching Ching and Ling Dan. She suspects they are hiding something behind her back. With the help and some manipulation from Peen Fook (Vampire), they manage to reveal Ching Ching’s real identity in front of Ling an. Ling Dan discovers Ching Ching is a snake so he is afraid to even see her because he thinks she is some kind of evil creature.

Ching Ching decides to leave Snake Mountain, Ling Dan and So So. She knows how much So So loves Ling Dan and So So will take good care of Ling Dan. Ching Ching is unaware that So So is the one who caused her to “yeen ying”(come out) as a snake in front of Ling Dan's eyes.

After 16 years have passed, Ching Ching has a teenage son, Ah Sing. Sing who is unable to speak. They live a very simple life up in the hills, which is close by a small town. Soon word goes around town that a very talented doctor will be moving to their village. Ling Dan and So So with their son and daughter have decided to make this small town their new home. Ling Dan’s son is a very devious and evil spirited teenager but his daughter is very quiet and kind hearted.

One day a Do Jeung and his apprentice come to town too. Do Jeung becomes good friends with Ching Ching. At first he mistaken her as some kind of supernatural creature so he tries to burn her. Then they discovered that Ching Ching is Sing’s mother so she can’t be a supernatural creature. When Ching Ching and Do Jeung spend more time to get to know each other, Do Jeung accepts Ching Ching as a different type of supernatural creature. She is kind hearted and not out to hurt humans. As a result of Do Jeung trying to burn Ching Ching, Sing was able to speak again.

Inevitably Sing and Ling Dan’s son cross paths. They both have a crush on a girl named Siu Suet. Ling Dan and So So find out that Ching Ching lives in the hills. All these years Ling Dan has never forgotten Ching Ching. He still keeps a piece of jade that Ching Ching left behind. Ching Ching is now known by friends and neighbors as Ms. Ming(Ming Tai So) so she refuses to admit she is Ching Ching to Ling Dan and So So. She has started a new life with her son so she doesn’t want to dredge up the past.

Sing and Ling Dan begin to get very close. Ling Dan treats Sing as if he were his own son. So So begins to pick up on Ling Dan’s lingering attraction to Ching Ching again. However, Ching Ching refuses to let her feelings for Ling Dan, which gets the best of her.

Soon things get out of control and secrets are revealed. The past comes back to haunt everyone. Ling Dan’s son is not really his. The son was a result of So So having a one night stand with the Vampire to pay him back for helping her get rid of Ching Ching 16 years ago. Sing is the one who is really Ling Dan’s son.

The Vampire finds his way to know where So So and Ling Dan lives. He has come to town to wreak havoc. Do Jeung and Ching Ching join forces to stop the Vampire. Ling Dan’s son finds out that his real dad is the Vampire.

The ending for this series will not be given away here. What will happen to Ching Ching, So So and Ling Dan? Finds out yourself... watch the series.
