A Word from Mrs. Dawn
Hi Kids,
Hope you are all having great weeks, winding the school
year down! Isn't it a great feeling to know that in a
few short weeks you can relax and take a break?
Isn't
is great to know that God NEVER relaxes and NEVER takes a
break from us. His power in our lives goes on 365 days
a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!!!
I am thankful
that he doesn't need a break from my life! It is such a
shame when we don't utilize God's power in our lives on
a daily basis. Yes, His power is always there if we are
a Christian, but so many times we don't give him free
and total reign in our lives to do the things that He
wants to do!
What a shame for us when we don't allow
Him the ultimate power to perform all kinds of neat
things in our lives on a daily basis. I am guilty of
this as well, but when I do try to take control myself
(in my own weak power), I am always so anxious to give
the control back to God. I, naturally, always make a
mess of things, and He, on the other hand, never ceases
to amaze me with the gifts and blessings I recieve on a
daily basis! His loving will for our lives is the
perfect will - I don't want to miss a single bit of it
by trying to do things my way! He is AWESOME! Utilize
His power in your lives on a daily basis!
Now, speaking about relaxing, I am hoping to get together
for a couple of pool parties this summer!! Anyone up
for that? Although I don't have a pool, I have a friend
who has a great pool, and I'm not mentioning any names,
but there is someone in our class who has a pool!!
(A_d_e_) The S_a_e_s would probably be willing to have
a pool party for us! So, be thinking of ideas for some
summer fun. We may even plan a day at NRH20! I'm
really excited about summer myself!!
Everyone hang in there and have a great rest of the
school year!
