MBC NETWORK INTRODUCES A FALL LINEUP WITH AN EXCITING MIXTURE OF INSPIRATIONAL AND FAMILY-VALUE PROGRAMMING
ATLANTA, GA. - The MBC Network announced today that it has completed its much-anticipated new fall lineup of original programming to include a wide array of family programs.
The MBC Network will introduce and distribute programming with a gospel slant geared towards African American men and women 18 to 54 years old.
"We have an extraordinary fall lineup with a unique team centered around power television for all of our programming," said CEO and founder Alvin James. "Our objective is to produce original programming that will compete and rival all other existing cable networks."
The MBC Network viewers can look forward to a premiere lineup including:
Studio V, a youth-oriented video variety show hosted by Valencia Jackson, the daughter of Marlon Jackson (The Jackson Five), featuring today's top musical talent and uplifting music with positive spiritual messages. Ms. Jackson will also bring you the 4-1-1 on the music scene through interviews and tour updates. Studio V will also feature "Rap Up the Rhythm," a segment addressing issues that affect today's youth.

06/10/98 Famous Families - The Jacksons!
The first episode of the Fox series Famous Families, dedicated to the Jacksons, aired last night at 9 pm on the Fox Family Channel. The larger part of the family was interviewed for the show, including Valencia, her sister Brittny and her father Marlon! They talked about coping with rumors, the death of DeeDee and their future ambitions!
