Family :
Besides my parents, I have three older brothers and two sister in laws. My oldest brother is 8 years older than me and his other half is 3 years older than him (they're not married) and he has daughter she's 10 and lives in Germany with her mother, so I don't actually see her very often.
The twins are 4 years older than me. The younger (by seven minutes) of them is married and in the R.A.F. I really get on with his wife, even though we don't really have that much in common. They have a daughter and a son.
And I also have a great friend in London who is like a sister to me.
Music :
I don't listen to much music in English, most of what I listen to is in German, Russian and Ukrainian. My favorite band is Okean Elzy (Ukrainian) even though I only know a few Ukrainian words, but my favorite singer is Tilo Wolff in Lacrimosa (German). I also listen to movie and game soundtracks and Egyptian music that I can practice belly dancing to.
Tattoos/piercings :
I really like both, a form of self-expression. I have a dragon on my left upper arm for my love of dragons and a phoenix with a cross between it's wings above the right ankle which symbolizes rebirth. And I just got a tribal tattoo over my right shoulder (picture still to be added).
I have 7 earrings. Two at the bottom of each (hoops then green studs), two at the top left and one at the top right (all hoops).
Animals :
I love animals and am completely against hunting for sport. As you're probably guessed, my favorite creatures are fantasy ones but I have a cat and I see a lot of my brother's dogs, you can see them on the pets link.
Wild animals - I like lizards, big cats, bears, wolves, badgers, bats and raccoons.
Future pets? - A rough collie dog, two cats/kittens (black and tortoiseshell colors) and perhaps a lizard.
Religion/beliefs :
What I beleive isn't an official religion. But you don't have to follow a set religion to be religious. The basis of what I belielve is 'what you believe, is what is for you'. I think all gods/goddess are there, they all exist. I believe they're all of different 'sects' so to speak, the gods of religion A will have nothing to do with the gods of religion B. Though they know they both exist. A person chooses to follow the gods of religion B, the gods of religion A will have nothing and no influence of the person.
Personally, I worship the dragon god - Bahamut (yeah, I know he's been portrayed in games, but so have a lot of gods). There are many gods/goddess' in my religion.
The mind shapes religion in a sense and up to a point. I believe the mind is extremely powerful thing (we only use 10% of it, and another percentage to keep subcunscious thing going - heart beating, breathing, etc). The mind makes religions known, it makes them popular. I think it's possible for deities let people know through their mind that they exist. Hence people seem to 'know' things without proof or reason. Thus I believe that they all exist.
The mind also shapes what happen to you after you die. If you believe you in heaven and hell as an afterlife, then they are there and you will go to one of them, if you believe there is nothing, then goodbye.
I think the major percentage of the mind is spiritual. We all have the shell (body), the spirit (a vessel for the soul) and the soul (the essence of life itself). The spirit and soul will leave the shell, leave the planet and look for a new life across the multiverse. Different realities, different worlds, different planes. What seems like 'fantasy' in this world actually exists somewhere. We all have an idea of our ideal world, our spirits will go and look for it.
I don't know how fast spirits and souls travel, but considering the infinite expanse of the multiverse, pretty fast.
I'm a firm believer in reincarnation. So firm, that I feel so sure of it. My religion also 'allows' ghosts to exist. The spirits that don't leave right away. But in my logic, why hang around when you can look for life elsewhere? Unless they're waiting for their soul mate. So, ghosts can exist, but don't choose to stay unless it's an exceptional case. I also say that because I don't want to see one. I also believe in hypnosis to get a breif idea of you past lives.
The meaning of life (my personal thought) - Aquiring knowledge, wisdom, experience and to find happieness.
Heh, probably in each life, everyone thinks at one point - why the heck did I want this sort of life? We all have strange reasons and ideas in our past lives.
Sports/fitness :
My favorite form of exercise is belly dancing. It never fails to put me in my best mood. I also do Ju-Jitsu (green belt). I also did Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing for a while (didn't take grades) and still do swimming, and some light weightlifting. At one point in life, I hope to make a career in fitness and be a personal trainier.
Other hobbies :
Much of my time is spent doing a hairdressing course, I like languages - I'm learning German and Russian (on a course for each now), despite having lived in the Netherlands for 18 months, I was not motivated or interested in learning Dutch, my heart is in German too much and I'm interested in Ukrainian, Spanish and Irish. Making and writing to net/pen-friends, music (not in English), reading (fantasy genre), writing, Soul Calibur, painting miniture figurines, watching movies (Jackie Chan!!).
