Chapter 8
The Others

A women, tall and pale, leped off the horse and walked around the camp site. Her armor told Akina that the women was from a town nearby, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember which one. Taskin let out a loud sigh, and Akina knew it. The women heard it and looked under the table.
"Taskin?!"
"Hey sis..."
The women hugged him till his face turned as blue as his eyes. Akina looked confused, but came out from under the table reluctantly. Between Taskin stuggling to free himself from his sisters grip and the other people there, Akina just decided to sit and wait till they were introduced.
"Nikki! Please let me go..."
His sister, Nikki, let him go as Taskin gasped for breath.
"So this must be Akina, right?"
"Yes," Akina stood up, "Nice to meet you."
They shook hands and then came the questions...

An hour later, Taskin was out of breath from answering and Nikki seemed happy about it. She told them that she has been searching for the worrior who took her brother captive. For Akina dna Taskin had been out there in those woods for longer then they thought, about a month to be exact. Nikki explained that she was ready to kill, but once she saw Taskin alive again, she just couldn't do it. Considering she has never used a sword in her life...but thats a differnt story.

They packed up and left camp to go back to Taskin's home village, they reached it by nightfall. As they enterd the city...Akina couldn't help but feel someone was watchign and following her, yet she couldn't see them.
