Chapter 3
The Visitor

Akina stopped and looked around for something to eat or catch, but found nothing.
"Man I'm going to starve at this rate."
A rustle in the trees started her, she looked up with a flash…but looking for what? For a second she thought it was going to be a bird or something she could eat. But was quickly frightened by the thought that it might be a robber, or a slave seller. She tried to find a weapon, but realized she dropped her knife and could not find it. Franticly turning and watching. Listening, waiting for the right time to run. With a flash she saw a figure coming straight for her. Without thinking she tried to run but tripped over a tree root and fell on her butt. Eyes closed, her hands trembled in fear. The man standing in front of her just looked at her with laughter waiting to burst out. Akina opened her eyes to only see a man, or rather a boy about her age looking at her. He had blue hair and deep green rimmed blue eyes. He was not a robber, too nice of clothing…he was not a salve seller, no rope or chains on him…but who was he?
"Who…who are you?"
"Sorry for scaring you, my names Taskin Sage." The boy held out his hand to help her up, but Akina refused and stood up on her own. She looked at him, examined his every feature. She found no fault, but every time she feel into his eyes…it was as if a something was pulling her in.
"Where are you from Taskin?"
"Well before I tell you that I would like to know your name." He smiled, she almost melted from want.
"My names Akina Yago."
"Nice to meet you." They shook hands then Akina backed away.
"Are you from Mikata?"
"No, a smaller town…Taigen…to the east." Akina knew of that town, she had been there before…for some reason she felt she knew this boy…but how? She had only been there for a short while, a day at least. But she had the feeling she was suppose to meet him.
"Are you ok?" Akina looked up realizing that she had drifted off into space again, she shook her head.
"So you got any food?"
"Why do you think I was out here for?"
"Oh, I thought you were here to bath in that lake." Taskin pointed over to a beautiful lake, the water looked warm. Akina wanted to bath so badly, to get the blood stains off her cloths. But not in front of this boy.
"Fine, suit your self." He ran and jumped in the water, cloths and all. Akina just staired at him blankly. And for a second she thought…well hell with it, I'll still have my cloths on. At that she jumped in the water next to him.
"God, this feels so good." Taskin watched her swim with his beautiful eyes.
"I've finally found you, my Akina." He mumbled under his breath, Akina never knew he was talking.
