Chapter 15
Forgive Me Not
It was late midday when Taskin woke again. His head pounding like he had drank too much, he tried to stand up, but failed. Looking to see what was wrong, he decided it was because he was so tired. Akina came walking up to hi in a cloth around herself.
"Good morning sleepy head." her sweet innocent smile made Taskin smile back. He couldn't help thinking of how beautiful she was. Ivory skin, soft red hair and eyes the color of the sunset, he couldn't help but stare at her. she just came back from a spring he was guessing, her hair wet and matted to her back in a ponytail. She went into her tent to get dressed, taking her time, since none of them were in a hurry. Nikki was still sound asleep at the time, and Taskin felt no need to stir her from her dream. Finally, he tried to get up again and was relieved to find he was able to stand. Stretching, he saw Akina's shadow cast on the tent's cloth; she was sitting combing her hair. Her long slender legs stretched like a cat as she stood up, and her arms reaching for the sky, entranced by her every move. When she came back out, she saw Taskin staring at her.
"What are you doing?" she asked, looking like a confused puppy.
"Nothing." Taskin's face turned bright red, as he tried to turn away. Akina ran in front of him and looked at him with a sweet smile.
"What were you doing?" she asked him softly, and before she had a chance to ask again, Taskin reached forward and pulled her close and kisses her passionately on her lips. Almost stunned by this, Akina didn't know what to do. Taskin pulled away and turned to run.
"Forgive me!" he cried as he ran off, leaving her there, shocked and blushing like a wild red rose.
