Chapter 12
Help
Akina stopped right before she reached the center of town. She listened for anything, any sound at all, but there was nothing but silence. This made her even edgier then ever. Taskin was coming up behind her, and she had to grab his shirt to stop him from walking into what felt like a trap, with him landing flat on his butt with a loud thud.
"What the heck do you think you are doing!?"
Akina shushed him and pulled out her sword. She slid it out in front of her and waved it around. And just as she thought, a wire snapped. she ran out knowing the trap was foiled. she went to the tree and jumped to the top. Calling at the top of ehr lunges...
"I know your out there! Show your faces you cowards!!"
Three men came out from the dark, all holding a different weapon. She looked at all of them and had to laugh. Each one was holding their weapon wrong and were standing with their chest open to attack. She knew the quickest way to deal with this was to attack with her best.
Akina jumped off the treetop and landed with ease. She turned to the first one and sliced his stomach open, leaving his entrails on the ground in front of him. Fallowing through with her motion, she sliced the seconds throat open and let him bleed and thrash as she went for the last one. She finished her turn, back to the third, she did a flip and twist. Landing with her sword right on his heart, ready to be pushed in and rob this man of his life. But she held it there as the man shivered.
"Who sent you?"
Before the man could answer, he was on the ground, a knife in his back, pierced his heart in the front. Akina looked up and saw the elf standing next to a building. The elf waved and smiled.
"It won't be that easy to find what you want."
Akina started to run up to the elf, but the elf jumped up to the building top, waved and was gone with a gust of wind.
