"When one talks about Morgan Park Raceway, one name that has really come to the mind down the years is Gavin Dawes. Gavins death at the age of 53 after a long illness is a shock to everyone in motor racing. He was an active member/volunteer and life member of the Warwick District Sporting Car Club and a successful competitor along with his children Michael & Rebecca. I am sure the thoughts of the Warwick sporting community are with Denise and their family. Morgan Park Raceway won't quite be the same" - Warwick Daily News Gavin Dawes: 19th Sept 1955 - 11th Oct 2008 |
