In Memory: John "Jack" Walter Stewart

"Another comrade has fallen.
And the pipes have come a callin'.
At Heaven's golden gates.
John's honor guard awaits."

Grandpa In Heaven

As I sit here and write this sad bit of prose.
I can't help but think of Angels Dru and Rose.
Grandpa "Jack" now residing with them above.
Holding them in his arms with oh so much love.

It's sad for Sheri to have her Dad go away.
But he's in a most wondrous place today.
Freed now of pain, a big smile on his face.
Memories of his family death cannot erase.

Angel Rose in one arm, in the other Angel Dru.
Such a lovely sight to envision just for you.
Grandpa will watch over this most precious pair.
Until Mommy Sheri will one day join them there.

It's hard to ease the pain when a loved one goes away.
But you must keep on thinking that one day.
The family you had on earth will reunite anew.
Just as the good Lord has always promised you.

So we salute you "Jack" on this sad, sad day.
As we send our final goodbyes your way.
And to my dear friend Sheri, my heart is there with you.
Dad and Grandpa "Jack" was someone I wish I knew.

You Will Forever More Be
