Butterflies for Sara

It's been one year since our friend Sara went away.
And we are gathered here to honor her memory today.
These butterflies we will set free for our dear friend.
Whose precious life sadly came to an untimely end.



On the wings of each butterfly, we send a memory.
To our angel Sara and hope that she can see.
That she is not forgotten and we all miss her so.
Our love to her is with each butterfly we let go.



Like a butterfly we know Sara's spirit is free.
A beautiful friend etched in our memories.
We know from Heaven she is looking down today.
And watching as each butterfly softly floats her way.



We all miss you Sara and thank God that we knew.
The wonderful friend we all had in precious you.
Fly free little angel as our butterflies do today.
We remember you Sara, our friend forever and a day.
