Book 1, chapter 51 - 60
Chapter 51
“Derek, don’t!” Meg screams as she struggles in her ropes.
Derek and Ben are rolling on the ground fighting. Derek has a knife in his hand and it is getting closer and closer to Ben. Finally he succeeds and stabs Ben through the heart.
“NO! NO! NO!” Meg screams.
“Meg, sweetie, wake-up!” Ben says as he gently shakes her.
Meg slowly wakes up and sees Ben in front of her.
“Ben!” she says as she grabs on to him, tears streaming down her face.
“Hey, its okay,” he says as he gently strokes her hair and holds her tight. “I’m right here. Shhh…”
“Ben, I dreamed that he…” she says all choked up.
“Shhh…It was just a nightmare. Nothing happened and I am right here,” he says gently rocking her back and forth.
He continues to hold her and eventually her tears subside and she falls back to sleep. He kisses her gently on the top of the head.
Then his mind drifts back to the events of the day and of the past couple weeks and he realizes they both have a lot of healing to do and that it will take some time, but they can do it, together.
Chapter 52
Three months later
Ben and Meg are walking hand in hand on the beach.
“It is so beautiful out here,” Meg says as she breathes in the salty air.
“Yes, it sure is and so are you,” Ben says with a smile.
“Are you trying to flatter me Mr. Evans?” she says with a smile as she turns around to face him.
“Of course I am,” he says as he leans down to kiss her.
They kiss for what seems like an eternity, although it was only a minute. Then Meg turns around leans against Ben. He wraps his arms around her.
“I never knew I could be so happy until I met you,” Ben says.
“I didn’t either. You make me so happy,” Meg says and she turns her head to give him a kiss.
He kisses her back and then they stand still for a while enjoying the sereneness of it all as the waves hit the beach and the seagulls fly overhead. Then Ben breaks the silence.
“There is something I want to show you,” he says taking her hand.
“Ben Evans, what do you have up your sleeve now?” she asks playfully.
“I am not going to tell. It’s a surprise,” Ben says with a grin.
“I love surprises!” Meg says with a smile as Ben leads her down the beach.
Chapter 53
Ben and Meg are still walking.
“Ben, where are we going?” Meg asks playfully.
“You’ll see!” he says with a smile.
They continue to walk until they come to the cliffs. On top of one of the cliffs is a big white house overlooking the beach.
“Ben, look at that house!” Meg says as she excitedly points to the house.
“Its quite beautiful, isn’t it?” he asks.
“Yes it is!” Meg says lost in the beauty of it all.
“Well, how would you like to live in it?” he asks with a grin on his face.
“Oh Ben, you know I would love it. Its absolutely…wait, do you mean…?” she says with an astonished look on her face.
“Yes, its yours if you want it,” Ben says with a big smile on his face.
“Ben, of course I want it!” Meg shrieks as she jumps on Ben and they both fall into the sand laughing. Then Meg stops laughing and bends in to give Ben a kiss.
“I love you!” she says.
“I love you too!” Ben says and then with a grin he yells. “Now get off of me!”
“What if I don’t want to?” Meg says laughing.
“Oh, you are going to!” Ben says with a smile and starts tickling her. She eventually ends up her back.
“Ben stop!” Meg shrieks as she laughs uncontrollably. “I need to catch my breath!”
“Ok, ok! I will stop!” he says with a laugh.
They both sit up and shake the sand off.
“Would you like to go see your new home?” Ben asks.
“Of course I would!” Meg says.
Ben stands up and then takes Meg’s hand and her pulls her up effortlessly. They put their arms around each other and walk to the house.
Chapter 54
Ben and Meg arrive at the house. Ben pulls out a key and opens the door. They both step inside.
“Oh Ben…its…its breathtaking,” Meg says as she takes it all in.
They are standing in the middle of a huge foyer. There are steps to the right leading upstairs. There are rooms on either side of the foyer.
Meg is still standing in awe when Ben speaks up.
“Love, this isn’t the only room,” he says with a smile.
“I know Ben. I just need to take it all in,” Meg says dreamily.
They stand there for a minute more before Ben speaks up.
“Meg, would you like for me to show the rest of the house? The real estate agent is going to be here at any moment so that she can make the sale final, that is if you still want the house,” Ben says.
“Ben, I don’t have to see the entire house to know that this is my dream house and that I want to spend the rest of my life here with you,” she says with a sparkle in her eyes as she turns around to face him.
“I was hoping you would say that,” Ben says with a smile.
He puts his hands on her face and leans in to kiss her. She kisses him back and gives him a hug. They are still hugging when they hear the door opening and in steps a plump older lady carrying a briefcase.
“Hello Ben,” she says with a smile. “I see that your wife here is quite happy with the…uh…house. Oh, by the way Mrs. Evans, my name is Evelyn Sharpe.”
She extends her hand to Meg. Meg shakes her hand.
“Hi Ms. Sharpe. You can call me Meg and yes I absolutely love the house. It is like a dream come true,” she says as she smiles at Ms. Sharpe and then at Ben.
“Well Ben, you can make that check payable to Sunset Realty,” she says with a smile as she hands him a pen out of her briefcase.
Meg giggles as Ben looks from Ms. Sharpe to her and pulls out his checkbook.
“You ladies drive a hard bargain,” he says with a smile as he puts the finishing touches on the check.
He then hands the check to Mrs. Sharpe and she hands him the keys and the papers to their new home.
“Well, I hope you two will enjoy your home for many years to come. It was a pleasure doing business with you Ben,” she says as she shakes his hand.
“Thank you so much Ms. Sharpe,” Ben says.
“Your welcome Ben,” she replies with a smile. “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye Ms. Sharpe,” Meg says as Ms. Sharpe walks out the door.
Then Meg turns to Ben.
“I love you so much!” she says.
“I love you too,” Ben says as he pulls her towards him.
They share a long and passionate kiss. Then they stop to catch their breath.
“Mrs. Evans, would you like me to show the rest of the house?” he says.
“Of course. As long as we end up in the bedroom,” she says with a sly grin as she reaches around him to lock the door.
“Oh, that can be arranged,” he says with a smile. He grabs her hand and starts showing her around the house.
CHAPTER 55
Ben has shown Meg around downstairs and now they are upstairs. They have just come out of the last guestroom and they are heading for the room at the end.
“And this is our room,” Ben says as he opens the door.
The sight before Meg is breathtaking. There were white roses everywhere. There is a king size bed in the middle of the room with a flowered comforter which was pulled pack to reveal white satin sheets. To the side was a small porch that gave an amazing view of the ocean.
“Oh Ben…its gorgeous! When did you have the time to do all of this?” she asks.
“Oh, I had some help. I am glad you like it love,” he says with a smile.
“Ben, I love it!” she says leaning in to give him a kiss and then a hug.
“Why don’t we go check out that view,” Ben says.
“Yes, lets do that,” Meg says excitedly.
They step out onto the porch and Ben puts his arms around Meg as they breathe in the salty air.
“Ben, I am so happy!” she says with a smile as she turns to look at him.
“I am glad you are. There is nothing more I want than for you to be happy,” he says taking a deep breath. “And now I want to ask you something.”
He gets down on one knee and takes Meg’s hand into his.
“Ben, what…?” Meg says with wide eyes.
“I have been wanting to ask you this question again for a while, but I wanted to make sure you were ready. You have been through so much and I wanted to find the perfect moment to ask you and this is it. Megan Rose Cummings, will you marry me again?” he says as he pulls a ring out of his pocket.
“Yes, of course I will marry you!” she says with tears of joy running down her face.
He places the ring on her finger and then he stands up and picks her up and twirls her around as they both laugh. She starts to slide down his chest and when they get lip level, they start to kiss. Ben picks her up and carries her into the bedroom. He lays her gently on the bed and they continue to kiss. Then, he breaks away.
“Are you sure you are ready for this?” Ben asks.
“Yes, please make love to me,” she whispers. They start to kiss again and pretty soon their clothes are on the floor. They make love for hours until they can’t anymore and they fall asleep, exhausted, in each other’s arms, smiling contentedly.
CHAPTER 56
Two weeks later at Ben and Meg’s new house
Sara, Vanessa, and Gabi are over helping Meg plan her wedding.
“When is mom going to get here?” Sara asks.
“She said she would be here soon. She doesn’t want us to do anything until she gets here,” Meg says.
“Why does she have to be involved in everything?” Sara groans.
“Sara, you know how mom is. She should be here soon, but in the mean time, I feel like I am totally out of the loop with you guys. It seems like we haven’t talked in forever,” Meg says.
“Yeah, you’re right. Well, I will start first,” says Vanessa. “Michael and I are doing really well. We’ve been talking about getting married, but I think we are going to take it slow and wait a little longer.”
“That’s great!” says Gabi. “But, I am not so sure that Ricardo wants to wait to get married. He’s been talking about it a lot lately.”
“Oh, well then maybe you need to catch the bouquet at the wedding!” Meg says with a smile.
“Definitely. I will make sure that I push you towards the front,” Sara says. Then she yawns and stretches out her arm. Meg’s catches a glimpse of something sparkling on Sara’s finger.
“Sara? Is that…?” Meg says with wide eyes. Gabi and Vanessa caught a glimpse of it too and are also looking at Sara with wide eyes.
“Yes, it sure is!” Sara says with a big smile. “Casey and I are engaged!”
“Sara! Oh my gosh!” Meg says with a huge smile as she runs over and hugs Sara. Vanessa and Gabi come over too.
“Sara, when did he propose?” Gabi asks.
“Last night. He fixed me a candlelit dinner,” she says.
“How did he propose?” Vanessa asks.
“Well, after dinner, we went for a walk on the beach and we ended up in our favorite place. We were both looking up at the stars, when all of the sudden, he said he needed to ask me something. Before I realized what was going on, he was down on one knee and asking me to marry him. It was so romantic!” Sara says with a dreamy look in her eyes.
“Oh, Sara, I am so happy for you!” Meg says smiling as she gives Sara another hug. “So, when are yall getting married?”
“We haven’t set a date yet, but I don’t think Casey wants to wait long,” Sara says.
“Casey doesn’t want to wait long for what?” Joan asks as she walks in the door.
Sara and Meg look at each other, then Sara takes a big gulp.
“Uh, mom, I have something to tell you,” Sara says.
“Sara, what do you need to tell me?” Joan asks as she walks over to Sara. Then she notices the sparkle. “Sara Elizabeth, is that what I think it is?”
“Yes, it sure is. Casey and I are engaged!” Sara says.
“Oh honey, that is great!” Joan says excitedly, but then the excitement fades. “What is your father going to think?”
“Mom! Stop worrying about dad! He will be fine. He finally got over the fact that Meg was engaged. He’ll get over the fact that I am engaged to. Well, hopefully before Casey and I actually get married,” Sara says.
Everyone starts laughing.
“Okay, let’s get on with planning this wedding,” Meg says.
“Wait just a darn minute, you didn’t tell us how Ben proposed to you,” Sara says.
“We want to know,” Vanessa says speaking up.
“Well, if you must know, it was very romantic,” Meg says.
“Go on,” Gabi says.
“After he signed the check to buy this house, he showed me around and we ended up in the bedroom…” Meg says.
“Honey, I am too old to hear this,” Joan says as she covers her ears.
“Mom!” Meg says laughing. “We did nothing of the sort, well…uh…not that I would tell you, but…you know!”
They all start laughing again.
“Okay, I am going to finish now,” Meg says. “He opened the door to the bedroom and it was covered in white roses. It was absolutely beautiful. Then he wanted to show me the view from our little porch. We walked out there and the view was breathtaking. He got down on one knee and proposed. I said yes and he was so happy that he picked me and twirled me around and then held me in his arms…and I’ll stop there!”
“Thank you honey!” Joan says as everyone starts to laugh again. “Now, we have a wedding to plan.”
CHAPTER 57
The Wedding Day-Valentine’s Day
It’s about an hour before the wedding. Meg and Sara are at the new house in Ben and Meg’s room getting ready.
“Oh, I can’t believe this day has finally come and nothing can ruin it,” Meg says.
“You are exactly right! Nothing can ruin it,” Sara says as she puts a string of pearls around Meg’s neck. “I wonder where Vanessa and Gabi are.”
“They should be here soon,” Meg says. “I can’t wait to be Mrs. Evans again!”
“I am so happy for you, well for both of us actually. We are both so lucky!” Sara says smiling.
“I know. We sure are,” Meg says with a smile.
Then Vanessa and Gabi walk in.
“There you guys are. We were just talking about yall,” Meg says.
“All good, I hope,” Gabi says.
“Well…mostly good!” Sara says grinning.
“Sara!” Meg says giving Sara a playful punch in the arm.
“Ok, so all we said was that we were wondering where yall were,” Sara says.
“Well, that is good. It’s not nice to talk behind peoples’ backs,” Vanessa says trying to be serious.
“Oh, Vanessa drop the serious look!” Sara says smiling.
Everyone starts to laugh.
“Ok, ok, let’s get ready!” Vanessa says.
Meanwhile, the guys are downstairs talking.
“So Ben, are you ready?” Casey asks.
“Yes I am. I can’t wait to marry the love of my life,” Ben says smiling.
“Great! Let me fix this flower in your pocket,” Casey says.
Antonio walks into the room with Ricardo.
“Hi Ben. How are you?” he asks.
“I am great!” Ben says beaming. “How much longer till everything begins?”
“Well, we have about thirty more minutes to go,” Antonio says.
“Are you okay with all of this Ricardo?” Ben asks.
“Ben, I am fine. I just want you and Meg to be happy,” he says smiling.
“Thank you Ricardo,” Ben says. “You have no idea how much that means to me.”
At that moment, Hank and Michael walk in.
“Oh good. Everyone is here,” Ben says. “How much longer now?”
“Ben, it’s only been a minute,” Antonio says.
“Oh, I guess I am a little anxious,” Ben says.
“Yes, I guess so!” Antonio says.
Everyone starts to laugh.
Meanwhile…
Joan walks into the bedroom.
“Are you all ready?” she asks.
“Yes, we are ready,” Sara says. “What time is it?”
“It’s about 30 minutes till the wedding starts. A lot of the guests have already arrived,” Joan says.
“Really? Are all of the guys here now?” she asks.
“Yep, they are all present and accounted for,” Joan says.
“Good. Hey Meg, are you almost ready?” she yells in the direction of the bathroom.
“Yeah, I will be out in a sec,” she yells back.
“Okay, hey mom, can you fasten these pearls?” Sara asks.
“Sure, so you all decided on the pearls?” Joan asks.
“Yeah, we figured that would the easiest thing,” Gabi says.
“Okay, what do you think?” Meg says opening the door and stepping into the bedroom.
“Wow!” they all say at the exact same time.
CHAPTER 58
It is a beautiful February day and the sun is shining. The wedding is about to begin. The guests are all seated outside overlooking the ocean. Casey takes Joan to her seat and then goes to join the other groomsmen as the music starts. Ben, Antonio, and the groomsmen enter from the side. Then the
bridesmaids start to walk down the aisle. Gabi goes first, followed by Vanessa, and then Sara, who is the maid of honor. They are all wearing long sleeveless hunter green dresses. Then the music changes to the bridal march. Everyone stands up and their eyes fall on Meg and Hank as they walk down the aisle. Meg is wearing a beautiful white strapless wedding gown that fit at her waist and then billowed out from the waist down. Her hair is loosely curled and pulled back on the sides with little white combs. There are little white rosebuds throughout her hair and she is carrying a white rose bouquet. Everyone stares in awe as they make their way to the front. They reach the front and Antonio begins to speak."We are gathered here on this beautiful day to join together in holy matrimony Benjamin William Evans and Megan Rose Cummings in the presence of you, their family and friends. Now, who gives this woman to be married?" Antonio asks.
Hank speaks up. "Her mother and I." He unlocks his arm from Meg's and gives her a kiss on the cheek. Then he places her hand in Ben's hand and goes and sits with Joan.
"The bride and groom have requested that I read a few verses from the bible. They are as follows," Antonio says.
Meanwhile, Ben and Meg are staring at each other, lost in each other's eyes as Antonio reads the verses. They try to keep their minds on the verses that Antonio is reading, but it was easier said than done.
Antonio finishes his reading and Martine McBride starts to sing her song "Valentine". Ben was able to get her to sing by pulling a few strings.

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my valentine
All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time...
You're all I need, my love, my valentine
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
'Cause all I need is you, my valentine
You're all I need, my love, my valentine

"The bride and groom will now say their vows. They wrote them themselves," Antonio says.
Ben starts first.
"Before you came along, I was lost and just going through the motions of life. But you came into my life and you pressed on until you found me. You showed me a love that I had never known before and even when I wasvstubborn, you pressed on even harder. And you finally got through to me. You taught me how to love again and I want to thank you for that. You gave me my life back and I love you with all my heart."
Meg struggles to find her voice as the tears of pure love run down her face.
"When...When I first came to Sunset Beach, I was looking for SB, for the man who I had shared my thoughts and dreams with. After a few tries, I found him. I found you. I knew in my heart that you were my soul mate. I just had to convince you of that and I did...eventually. I have loved you ever since I laid eyes on you and that love grows more and more everyday. I love you with all my heart."
Antonio smiles at Ben and Meg and then speaks. "I now have an important question to ask each of you. I will start with you Ben," he says as he turns to face Ben.
"Do you, Benjamin Evans, take this woman, Megan Cummings, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do," Ben replies.
Antonio turns to Meg.
"Do you, Megan Cummings, take this man, Benjamin Evans, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward as long as you both shall love?"
"I do," Meg replies.
"Can I please have the rings?" Antonio asks.
No one moves. Ben looks at Casey, who is supposed to have the rings, but Casey just smiles and looks down the aisle. And out of nowhere he appears.
Smiling from ear to ear, Benjy walks down the aisle carrying the rings on a pillow.
Ben and Meg don't know what to say. Benjy gets to Antonio and gives him the rings, then Antonio speaks as Benjy takes his place with Casey, Michael, and Ricardo.
"If you all are wondering why these two look so surprised, it is because little Benjy here was a last minute addition to the wedding. We knew they scouldn't get married without him."
Meg and Ben both have tears in their eyes. Ben is so happy to see Benjy and Meg is so happy to see the happiness in Ben's eyes because Benjy is there.
Antonio breaks the moment. He hands a ring to Ben.
"Ben, place this on Meg's finger and repeat after me," he says. Ben takes the ring and places it on Meg's finger. "With this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring, I thee wed," Ben repeats as he looks into Meg's eyes.
"Now Meg," Antonio says. He gives the ring to Meg. She places it on Ben's finger. "Now repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring, I thee wed," Meg repeats as she looks into Ben's eyes.
Antonio speaks. "I am proud to say, by the power invested in me by our Lord, Jesus Christ and by the state of California, that I now pronounce you husband and wife." He looks at Ben with a smile. "You may now kiss your bride."
Ben takes Meg into his arms and kisses her long and hard. Then the music starts up again. The happy couple reluctantly breaks apart and walks back down the aisle. Sara and Casey follow. Then Vanessa and Michael. And finally Ricardo and Gabi, followed by Benjy.
Then Antonio speaks. "Mr. and Mrs. Evans would like to thank all of you for attending the wedding and have requested that all of you join them at their reception which is located in the tent behind you all."
CHAPTER 59
The Reception
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the bridal party is now entering the reception,” announced the DJ.
Everyone cheers as the bridesmaids and the groomsmen enter followed by the ring bearer.
“And now, may I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Evans!” the DJ says.
Everyone starts cheering wildly as Meg and Ben enter. As the cheering dies down, they start to go around and talk to all of the guests. After a while, it is time for the first dance.
“Could I please have the bride and groom out on the floor for the first dance?” the DJ asks. Ben and Meg make their way to the floor.
“The bride and groom have requested “Amazed” by Lonestar as the song for the first dance,” the DJ says.
Ben and Meg start to sway to the music, their eyes locked together as they listen to the words in the song.

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams
I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you, it just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you
The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me, baby you surround me
You touch everyplace in my heart
Oh, it feels like the first time every time
I wanna spent the whole night in your eyes
I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you, it just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you
Every little thing that you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Oh, every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you

The song ends and the DJ speaks. “It is now time for the bride and her father to dance. The bride has requested “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle.”
Hank comes out onto the floor with his daughter and they start to dance to the music. Hank can’t help but let a few tears escape. Meg sees his tears and with tears in her eyes, she brushes his tears away with her fingers.
****
There's two things I know for sure
She was sent here from heaven
And she's Daddy's little girl
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus, and I close my eyes
And I thank God for all of the joy in my life
But most of all, for...
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
"Walk beside the pony Daddy, it's my first ride"
"I know the cake looks funny, Daddy, but I sure tried"
Oh, with all that I've done wrong,
I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every morning
And butterfly kisses at night
Sweet sixteen today
She's looking like her momma a little more every day
One part woman, the other part girl
To perfume and makeup, from ribbons and curls
Trying her wings out in a great big world
But I remember...
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
"You know how much I love you Daddy
But if you don't mind
I'm only going to kiss you on the cheek this time"
With all that I've done wrong
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every morning
And butterfly kisses at night
All the precious time
Like the wind the years go by
Precious butterfly
Spread your wings and fly
She'll change her name today
She'll make a promise, and I'll give her away
Standing in the bride room just staring at her
She asked me what I'm thinking
And I said "I'm not sure
I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl"
Then she leaned over...and gave me...
Butterfly kisses, with her mama there
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair
"Walk me down the aisle daddy
it's just about time"
"Soes my wedding gown look pretty daddy"
"Daddy don't cry"
With all that I've done wrong
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every morning
And butterfly kisses
I couldn't ask God for more
Man, this is what love is
I know I've gotta let her go
But I'll always remember
Every hug in the morning, and butterfly kisses...

The song ends and the DJ puts on some fast music. Everyone dances the night away.
Later the DJ stops the music and tells everyone it is time to throw the bouquet and the garter.
Meg steps out onto the floor.
“Okay, all of you unmarried women, gather on the floor,” she says with a smile. Everyone gathers and she turns around. She counts to five and throws the bouquet.
A scramble ensues and in the end, Sara holds up the bouquet triumphantly, grinning from ear to ear.
Next came the garter. Casey brings a chair out onto the floor for Meg. She sits down and Ben comes over. He lifts up her skirt and gets a hold of her garter. He gently slides it down her leg and over her shoe.
“Okay, all of you bachelors, get over here!” he says. They gather on the floor and he flicks the garter. Everyone laughs as the garter hits Casey in the face and lands in his hands.
“Now that’s what I call a good catch!” Ben says laughing.
The laughter starts to die down as the music starts again. Everyone dances for a little longer and then it is time for the bride and groom to leave.
Ben and Meg start to make their way to the exit. Rice starts to fly and Ben and Meg are covered in it before they can get out to their car, which to their surprise, has been decorated with toilet paper and everything else imaginable.
Everyone laughs at the sight of the car. Ben picks Meg up off of her feet and places her in the car. He shuts her door and then he goes around to his side and gets in. They take off and wave to their guests as they embark on a brand new life.
CHAPTER 60
Later that night in the hotel room…
Meg and Ben have just gotten into their hotel room. (They are flying to Venice the next morning.) Ben dumps their suitcases on the floor and then starts kissing Meg.
“Mmmm…you taste so good,” he murmers.
“So do you…” she says catching her breath as he starts kissing her neck and making his way down. He slowly unbuttons her dress button by button and it eventually lands in a heap around her ankles. He picks her up and carries her to the bed. He lays her down gently and they continue to kiss. It didn’t take long for her to get his clothes off him. He continues to kiss her and slowly takes off her bra and panties.
“Ben…take me now,” she says with the remaining breath she has.
In response to her plea, he makes love to her gently, but forcefully. She moans with pleasure and they settle into a steady rhythm.
They make love all night and then collapse into each other’s arms just as the sun comes up signaling the dawn of their new life together as man and wife.
