Chapter 71
The weeks went by quickly and I felt pretty good. I had all things about the wedding under control as well. We hadn't told anyone about the baby yet, but were to do the weekend before the wedding when they came for dinner. Then I told Ola that I planned to tell Marie-Louise about it, as they(she and her family) were to go on vacation at the same time and to the same place as us.
July 8th 2001
Dear Diary,
Yesterday was "familydinner" time and I was so nervous before they arrived. We had prepared all the food and it was just to boil the potatoes and cook the sauce left. We were having a roast and that was in the oven.
Ola: Darling, what is it?
Me: Nothing.
Ola: Don't say that I can see that something is wrong, don't you fell well? I can call and cancel.
Me: No don't, I'm just nervous I think.
Ola: So am I, but why don't you go and lie down for a while. I'll look after the things here.
I started towards the sofa in the livingroom, but Ola got in my way.
Ola: Oh no! Not the sofa, go upstairs and lie down on the bed, it's better. He kissed my cheek and turned me towards the stairs.
I must have been tired, I have after all taken a nap in the afternoon or after work the last few weeks, so it was probably that along with the nervousity that was the thing I needed. I woke up about half an hour before our guests was to arrive. I went into the bathroom to freshen up a bit and then I made it down the stairs, finding Ola chopping vegatables and stirring the sauce. When he put the knife down I slipped my arms around his waist.
Me: I love you, you're so domestic when you really wants to.
Ola: I love you too, although you scared me half to death. Lucky for you that I had put the knife down.
Me: I waited until you had.
Ola: Good for you, so how was the nap? Feeling better now?
Me: Yes, I think that it was the afternoon-nap I'd missed.
Ola: And some nervousity?
Me: And that too- are you still nervous too?
Ola: Yepp! I'm really more nervous now than the time I took you to my grandmother's for the first time. But I think we have to take it as it comes tonight.
Me: I guess so. We started to kiss but was soon interrupted by the doorbell and then I heard my sister.
Anna: Hello?
Me: Hi sis! Come in. You feel like home don't you?
Anna: Yepp, the only thing is that I don't ring the doorbell there. We both laughed, it had come to be a normal procedur when we visited eachother-ring the doorbell and then enter.
Soon the whole house was full of guests. As I was to have the next week off, and then two weeks as vacation, and then the spring(well the family didn't know that yet) we had had to hire a new person at work, just to make Anna and Agneta being able to have a day or two off in the week. During dinner and dessert we talked about the wedding and then at the coffee it was time to break the news.
Ola(stood up behind me): So everyone, I'm not much for speeches and as I'm gonna have to talk next week I thought I better practice today on you- our families. And well we've got something to tell you all too.
Ola's sister: What's up brother dear, you seem to be nervous.
Me: Not as much as I am, but what Ola was trying to tell you....ok here it goes.....(I took a big breath before I continued, I felt Ola's hands squeezing my shoulders as support) I'm pregnant, we're gonna have a baby in about 7 months.
Everyone got quite. We both looked at eachother and I could feel how Ola was about to squeeze harder, so I put a hand on his to calm him down. My mother was the first to speak, soon they've all come over to hug us both saying their congrats and then they started to plan. Finally Ola raised his voice.
Ola: Thank you for all your concern, but please don't make any plans, we haven't yet.
Ola's sister: You haven't?
Me: No, we wanted to go thru with the wedding first, and just because of that we wanted you all to know about it before.
Lena(Ola's mother): But Ola, you must understand that this is our first grandchild in both families, of course we are concerned.
Ola: I know, but let us have the wedding first.
Anna saved the topic from going out of hand, she asked if we should return to talk about the wedding, so we did and then a few hours later they all left. Of course they all hugged me and told me to take care and call if I needed help with ANYTHING!!! It felt good when they've left and it was just Ola and me, so when we stood in the kitchen finishing up the dishes.
Ola: Well that went by rather easy, don't you think?
Me: Yes, I jsut hate if they'll start to butt in now....I mean the most of the weddingplans we've been able to do ourself. I guess even my mother will call everyday now, at least before the wedding.
Ola: Yes and mine too, even though neither of them usally does.
Me: But at least you're be working some of the days.
Ola: You could come with me, I mean if you don't have anything else to do.
Me: I don't know yet, I have to call everyone, the resturant, the florist, the hairdresser, the photografer and then go pick up the rings at the jeweller.
Ola: Well I want to go with you to pick the rings up, even though we've just have gotten them ingraved.
Me: Ok, I was planning on doing that Tuesday, so maybe I could go with you then if I feel good in the morning otherwise we have to meet in town.
We went to bed early, it had been a long day and tomorrow was the last day I was to work before the wedding. That is today was the last day, and it was a rather busy day for a Sunday but as I felt good it was no problems.
July 10th 2001
Dear Diary,
Well I worked Sunday and then directly after work we went to pick the Evans' families up. Both Ben and Derek with families arrived that day. And yesterday I was calling around checking that everything went as planned and confirmed every appointment for both Friday and Saturday again. We are to be in church at 5PM Friday to practice.
Then today the most funny thing happend. I went with Ola "at work" and when we got to Ystad he had to unload first, so as it was at the harbour near my work I went to talk to Anna while I waited for Ola to finish. Well it took about 45 minutes and then we went to pick the rings up. "Together forever", our names and the date was the ingravement. It was Ola's suggestion. "Tillsammans för alltid". I had to run another quick errand on town and then we went back to the kiosk to have a late lunch.
Well when we arrived there, there was one of the "old guys" that used to come with supplies to us were there. He usally stops by if he's in town. He's always been teasing us, about everything. Well he's still a sweetie, but this time I got to surprise him, twice! Firstly when I and Ola came inside he made big eyes.
Göran: Well who's this?
Me: It's Ola, my fiancé, didn't you believe me when I told you the last time we met?
Anna: And if I may- he's to be my brother-in-law for real on Saturday.
Göran: What? Is it true?
Me: Yes it is, we're getting married Saturday.
Göran(teasingly): Well Ola, I hope you know what you've gotten yourself into.
Ola(stunned): I hope so too. I slapped him playfully and he continued; I know so.
Göran: Well Tina, it seems like you have him under control. So...?
Me: So what?
Göran: Well kids? In about nine months? he was teasing again and I saw the look on Ola's face. He wanted to "tell him off" and I nodded to him that he could.
Ola: Well not really.
Göran: No? Why's that?
Ola: Try seven months instead.
Göran got stunned, and it took a while before he said anyhting. We talked for a while and then me and Ola had to go as he still had a few things to unload before we could go home.
Chapter 72
July 13th 2001
Dear Diary,
Wow! One day left adn I've been feeling sick all morning. But I'm nervous I admit that. Ola had to work a few hours, but he said that he could skip it if I liked, he's been so great when I've felt ill. He left at 6.30 and will soon be back, around 2 PM he said. When he gets here we need to drive one of the cars to the place where we're spending our weddingnight. Friends have always made pranks to newly weds, this way we avoid it on one car, and we need it to get home the next morning. And all this has to be taken care of before 5PM when we're meeting with the others at church for rehearsal. And after that we're going to my parents for coffee and sandwiches, I've asked my mother to fix it.
It's really been a madhouse here all week, calls about the wedding, about the baby and we had to visit our grandparents to tell the news too. I almost plan to pull the plug on the phones tonight, so we can get one quite evening together. Well I see to it that the cellphones are off and then set the answeringmachine to answer at once.
I did tell that the Evans' arrived Sunday?! Well we went to pick them up after I finished work at 5.30PM and drove them to the house they've rented. As Derek and Caroline came along aswell and they're staying for three weeks they rented a house instead of living in a hotel. The kids had grown so much, especially Sheila and Kerrigan, and then it was a pleasure to meet the youngest of the family Lucas Evans. Ben and Meg's second son.
I had some time over Wendesday and went over to spend some time with them. We had talked about having dinner together, but I didn't know when Ola finished for the day, so I got there early. We talked and had fun and when we've started to cook dinner a lot of noices were heard from outside. The kids ran out and even before I had a chance to recognize the sounds or look out the window I figured out that it was Ola, in the truck of course(he had to go back working after dinner). Of course the kids wanted to climb the truck and luckily it was empty so that they could.
It was fun to spend time with them again, and I really hope we get a chance to do so again before they leave. We aren't going away yet for a month so I guess a few times. We have to have them over as Derek and Caroline never been here.
I've just read this thru and I don't know if it makes any sence at all, but I'm so nervous about tomorrow and well, I guess it will be an early night as well, or at least I hope. I'll try to get to bed early at least, I don't know if I can get to sleep, but just knowing that I'm gonna have Ola's arms around me all night as usal is enough to relax.
July 14th 2001
It's here! Finally! MY WEDDING DAY!!!! I can hardly believe it though. But I'm soon of to the hairdresser. I just have to wait for Ola to get out of the shower. I never thought of it before this morning, but this will be the last time I leave the house as miss Mårtensson. The next time I get here I will be mrs Andersson. I did bring the dress to my parents place yesterday. I will change there before we go to the photografer. I'll also meet up with Ola there, I hope he'll like the dress, he haven't seen it yet I told him that he couldn't, altough I think he's peaked inside the "clothing-bag".
Anyway he was so sweet this morning. I must have fallen asleep sometimes during the night, as I woke up when he brought me breakfast in bed. After breakfast I took a shower and I'm now still waiting for Ola to finish, so I can remind him of being at my parent's at 1.30 at the latest. We're gonna be at the photografer at 2. They called this morning and asked if we liked to get the photos taken outside as it's such great weather today. We said ok of course. I really hope they'll turn out ok. But the photografer we've choosen is the best(in my opinion) and with Ola in the photo it have to be great. Anyway I've been feeling great all day(so far) and I guess that's good to for the pics! LOL
I hear Ola's on his way downstairs, so I better go! See you tomorrow and I bet I've have tons of stuff to tell, about the cermony and the reception and oh everything.
This is miss Tina Mårtensson siging off!
Chapter 73
July 15th 2001
Dear Diary,
Well I signed off as Tina Mårtensson, so.....this is Tina Andersson signing on! It's Sunday afternoon and well it's been kind of crazy here today, but let me start with yesterday. The so far best day of my life.
Well I said bye and reminded Ola about being at my parents at 1.30PM, and when Anna and I came from the hairdresser he was there already dressed. That made me being the one not ready! LOL. Well it was only 12.30 when I got back there, so I had 1,5 hours to get ready. We had something to eat before I got dressed and when I'd finished, well I should maybe say when Anna left the room, she helped me to zip the dress and with the bolero so that it looked great. Well as she left the room Ola came in without me hearing it. I thought I was alone until I heard him breath.
Ola: Wow! You DO look beautiful.
Me(as I turned around): And that you say when you've only seen the back of me.
Ola: You'd look beautiful in a sack.
Me: You're kidding?!
Ola: No, and you're looking even better this way. He came over and kissed me.
Me: You have to stop, you're ruining my make up.
Ola: Well you don't need that either.
Me: Stop it! Let's get going instead. The others are probably waiting for us at the photografer's.
Håkan had too arrived when we got out in the kitchen. So we, him and Anna drove of to the photografer's. We'd decided to not have any of the children in the "professional" pics, only in the once my brother was going to take during the day. He'd been at it all morning already.
When the pictures were taken there was a limosine waiting for us. It was my brother that had fixed it. He's working as a carmechanic at a company that imports a lot of cars, and often fancy cars, so he had thru connections gotten hold of a limo. It was his weddinggift for us. So he had ridden with it to the photografer's so he could drive Anna's car back. Of course Anna and Håkan was to ride with us, they were the "wedding-party".
When we got to the church we went inside the "communityhouse" that's next to the church. To go to the toilet, freshen up the make up and look out thru the windows on the guests arriving, that was fun to see what they were wearing asn so. Well when everyone had gotten there we went up to the church and was stopped in the door by my funny brother. "Stop here, no one gets in with out me taking a photo. Orders of the bride" we all laughed it was what I've told him to do with the guests.
Well the cermony was beautiful, and Anders(an old friend from school of mine, he's today a musicalartist) sang very beautiful, I didn't want to put my sister thru that kind of emotional stuff. The kids were just adorable.
I don't know if it was due to the pregnacy as well but I got thrills all over my body all the time, I still do just writing about it. It started with seeing all of our friends and family standing up when we walk up to the altar. I'm still so full of impression and the thing I remember mostly is when the priest annouced us husband and wife, mr and mrs Andersson.
When the cermony was over and we've walked down the aisle we stopped just before we got to the outer door. There all stopped by to congratulate us and wishing us good luck. Then when everyone was out we came out to "catch" the rice. I think I had rice everywhere, but not as much as my friend Åsa had at her wedding, she had to empty her shoe.
After the photos were taken outside the church with and without children, bestman and bridesmaid, it was time to get to the reception and dinner. The all saw us off and waved when we got in the limo, and then we took a longer ride than the others, so that when we got to the resturant everyone was there. It was still great weather, so we had the champange outside.
When I reached for my glass:
Ola: Are you sure?!
Me: A sip won't hurt, I do have to keep up the apperance, and after all the years you've been nagging me for not drinking....
Ola: Well but you weren't carrying my child then.
Håkan: Child, what are you talkign about?
Me: Haven't you told him Ola? I thought you would, you could have done it, you know.
Ola: Yes I know, he turned to Håkan and confirmed what he'd thought he'd heard Ola say. As it wasn't offical yet Ola asked Håkan to keep quite about it. Unless no one cracked a joke about it at the reception it would be only the family and now Håkan knowing(well he'd tell Marie for sure, but that didn't matter). Then it was Marie-Louise who knew from my friends, as I had told her when we talked about the vacation during the week. And she just laughed, she too were pregnant but wasn't to tell me until after the wedding she'd thought.
The dinner was as lovely as it was when we were there to try it out. And I had had a wish for dessert, my mother have always made such a nice "pinapplefromage", so she had leant the recipe to the cook(a friend of my father's) so that we got that. And of course we had coffee and cake later on, we had to cut the cake, what kind of wedding would it be otherwise.
The evening went on with dancing, opening gifts and talking to our friends and family. There were quite a lot of them that had speeches prepared. Some nice and some funny; there was this one person that Ola knows(better than me that is) he started out with stuff about Ola as young and then he knows my sister from before and that he had to mention, but he said that if I'm anything like my sister, Ola had made a good catch! And of course(but we knew if someone would, it would be him) he cracked a joke about kids, but Ola kept quite about it more being 7 months instead of 9. We had discussed if we should break the news or not, but decided against it, this was our weddingday and not a day to talk about that child.
At one time I was sittingdown by myself(I think it was the only time LOL) and Marie(Håkan's) came and talked to me.
Marie: Håkan told me! Congrats!
Me: Thanks! He was allowed you know, but we didn't want to spread it to everyone today, then it would be all babytalk...you know how it is.
Marie: All to well, I thought it would be different the second time around, but no.
Me: Well I'll keep that in mind. So are you enjoying yourself?
Marie: Very much, this is a great reception. You must have planned it well.
Me: It took sometime, but yes and I'm so happy that nothing's gone wrong so far that is. I'm dreading coming home tomorrow!
Marie: I guess so, so you're not sleeping at home tonight?
Me: No, and I'm not telling where we're staying either. we both laughed. I must say that all the children were just adorable in the church. And Marcus did a great job carrying the rings.
Marie: Well he adores Ola almost more than his father, it was more diffucult to explain to Emil why he had to sit with me instead of being up there with his father and brother.
Håkan came: May I have a dance with the lovely bride?
Me: If it's me you're talking to, yes you may, if your wife don't mind. we all laughed.
Marie: No, I don't mind, I might even go find that groom of yours and return the favor.
The evening went on in the same style. Of course everyone wanted to talk to us. We continued until 2.30 in the morning when the limo came to drive us to the small hotell where we were staying for the night.
Chapter 74
Still July 15th 2001
When we got to the hotel, the girl in the reception had all things ready. There aren't that many people checking in at 3AM. So we got to the room without any problems and while inside there was a bowl of strawberries and a bottle which looked like champange, but was a kind of soda.
Me: Have you arranged this?
Ola: Yes! I thought that "champis" was better than champange.
Me: Well it is! we both laughed and Ola put his arms around me from the back and rested his hands on my stomach. He'd started to do that a lot.
Ola opened the bottle and poored us each a glass. There was a small sofa in the room so we sat down close to eachother and just sipped the soda and ate strawberries to it.
Ola: Thank you!
Me: Well thank you too. It was a great day!
Ola: Yes, wasn't it. And no problems, or people doing funny things that were too bad.
Me: Well I dreaded that speech Ronny held, but it wasn't as bad as I thought and since we didn't say anything about the baby it was even better.
Ola: Yeah, I really thought he'd drag old girlfriends and stuff up, but he held his peace.
Me(teasingly): Are there more than Marie, then?
Ola: Yes there is, but now there isn't anymore, it's just you and me now and forever, but it have been for a long time.
Me: I feel the same. I leant over to kiss him.
Ola: Mmm that tasted good. Do you have more?
Me: There's a lot where that came from.
Ola: Well then I want more. And he kissed me, with a lot of passion.
Well of course we ended up in bed. And afterwards we fell asleep in eachothers arms, it had been an excting day, so I was surprised that I could stay awake that long as I hadn't gotten that nap I've gotten used to. We didn't wake up until 10 or so and went downstairs to have breakfast. They had the greatest breakfastbuffé with everything. Bread, ham, cheese, marmelade, coffee, tea, juice well name it and I guess they had it. Afterwards we went back upstairs and packed the few things we had with us. Well the weddingclothes we had to put in garmentbags, which we luckily had remembered to pack! Well Ola had rented his tux, so we were to get it back to the store Monday.
Soon after we'd gotten home like at 12.30 or so my mother called and asked if we came to collect the gifts or if she should come up with them. And as she had it all in the car it was easier, so she came, my father was working and we decided to call Ola's mother too. So when they both got here we unpacked everything again, last night my mother had written down notes of what we got and from whom.
What we got; well it was so much different things. Tableclothes, cups and mugs(special kind we wanted), from some friends we got a giftcertificate to a gardencenter to buy a tree to have in the garden(of course, where else). Then money from my grandparents and then from Ola's grandmother too and that bowl that we got a smaller version of at Christmas, it had belonged to Ola's great grandparents or so.
So, Oh! I've been sitting here writing for almost an hour, I guess then that it was an hour ago Lena and my mother drove home. I need to go take a nap, maybe I can convince Ola to join me. After all it's back to normal, work that is, tomorrow for Ola and Tuesday for me. We'll be working for about two more weeks before we go on vacation/honeymoon. I'm so much looking forward to that, to finally show Ola one of my favorite places on earth.
Chapter 75
July 18th 2001
Dear Diary,
Wendesday today! I've worked for two days now and it's been so good! It's finally back to normal, well not really with the baby and everything. Sunday in the early evening after I'd had my nap I was in the kitchen taking care of a few things when Ola came up from behind and nuzzled my neck, when Anna and Svenne turned up.
Anna: Get of that you two, you're married now, she laughed.
Ola: So we're not allowed to fool around any longer?
Anna: You're absolutley right. And you're having a baby too, so it's definatley stop to all fun for you.
Me: Hey! It's almost 7 months still until it gets here.
Anna: But we're here now and that is too a reason to stop.
Me: Ok, but if this had been the old days we'd been on our honeymoon now.
Anna: But you aren't.
Ola: So what did the two of you want on a lovely Sunday like today?
Svenne: Well we thought as Anna have been working we'd go out for pizza as dinner, so do you wanna join us.
Ola: Sounds ok to me, you honey?
Me: Sounds great! And talking about food, I really am hungry.
Ola again put his arms around me with his hands on my stomach: Yeah?!
Me: Well we had breakfast and then coffee when mother and Lena was here and then I took the nap, so I guess we haven't even thought about dinner.
Svenne(teasingly): I bet you haven't.
Ola: You don't have to go there I haven't even been close to bed, I've had had a minor problem getting all that toiletpaper of the truck.
Anna: Well I can say that we're NOT behind ANY pranks.
Me: I better hope so, you know how I feel about it.
Svenne: But you kept Tina's car free, how?
Ola: We drove it to the hotel Friday.
Anna: Smart! I'll keep that in mind.
Me: So you think it's the mutal friends that's behind it?
Svenne: I can think of some that's been at it, I guess you know too.
Ola: All to well and they have it coming back to them, so are we leaving?
Me: Just a quick run to the bathroom and I'm ready.
July 25th 2001
Well another week have gone by and it's been all work. There's just one week left now, then we're leaving on the Saturday the 4th of August. It will be so great to get away for two weeks. There are so many palces on Majorca I want to show Ola, like the caves, the "capital" Palma, the city where we're staying Alcudia. And of course we've talked about taking the tirp that goes in the mountains to Valldemosa among other things. It will to be good to spend some time with Marie-Louise and her little family.
After work yesterday I ran into Linda, she was out walking with her daughter Kajsa in the stroller. I had just finished work and had to bring a few things into the kitchen. Ola and me was then to go out for dinner, so he had caught a ride with Anna into town. I was taking the stuff out of the car just as usal and talking to Linda in the meantime when Ola came rushing.
Ola: Tina, please don't do that! Ask for help!
Me: What?
Ola: I don't want you to carry around on things like that! If there's no one to help you, use the cart instead.
Me: But....
Ola: No buts! I won't allow it!
Linda: What's up? Have you hurt your back or something?
Me: Yes, something....
Linda: No?! Tell me....You aren't?
Me: Yes I am!
Linda: How far along are you?
Me: About two months.
Linda: That's great! So....February sometime?
Me: Yeah.
Linda: Well we have to talk some more one day Magnus is coming home soon so we better get going. Can't we meet for dinner or maybe to barbeque.
Me: That would be great. Now, we're leaving for Majorca the 4th and will get back two weeks later, but after that if the weather still is great I guess we could find a day.
Linda: Oh, I forgot, you're going on your honeymoon. I hope you have a great time.
Me: Me too, did I tell you Marie-Louise, Per and Simon is going too at the same time?
Linda: Yes you did, are you staying at the same hotel?
Me: Yes.
Linda: Well have a great time, and remember I love postcards!
Me: Have I ever missed sending one?
Linda: No. See you and take care of you down there!
Me: I will.
She left and Ola came back, he had taken the supplies inside while I was talking to Linda. We went for dinner, there are so many nice places now that it's summer and this place we went this time has great food and the owner knows my father since a long time. He's funny always greeting everyone with "Hello, hello!" and then when it's people he knows(like me) he says: "Well it's miss Mårtensson and company" but I had to tell him that it wasn't. "What?!" he said. "It's mr and mrs Andersson" I told him. Of course he said congrats and then we got the "danish" we ordered to take home to have with the coffee for free.
Chapter 76
August 5th 2001
Dear Diary,
We're here! We're finally here! It looks the same and it feels like coming home almost. We landed around 9AM yesterday after an about three hour flight. We had met up with Marie-Louise and her family at the airport. As we came in the morning it was easier to adjust to the warmth here, although it's not very cold at home either. I can't wait to show Ola around, we looked a bit at the "town" of Alcudia last night.
This morning we went to the "welcomemeeting", I feel that's rather important to do even though I've been here 5 or 6 times already. There can always be something new that have happend. We also decide to go with the travelagency on their trip up in the mountains when we'll visit Valldemosa among other things. Of course they had other things we could go with them on, but we've decided to rent a car for a few days and drive ourselves to Porto Cristo to look at the caves and then to Manacor on the way home to stop at the pearlfactory. Maybe we'll go to "Marineland" as Marie-Louise and Per has their 2,5 years old son with them.
After having been to that meeting we went to the local market. It's up on Sundays and Tuesday. It's in the old town of Alcudia and it's very cosy. We also went to the beach briefly after we'd gotten back.
August 7th 2001
A funny thing happend yesterday(Monday) afternoon. Marie-Louise and I was standing on the balcony talking when this young woman on my otherside reached her head out and asked us if we were Swedish. Truthfully we answered and started to talk with her. She told us that she and her fiancé had been travelling around Europe a bit and been to Sweden about 1,5 months back. They had before that been in England to visit his mother and sister and after Sweden rented a car ans driven thru Europe and ended up at Mallorca. They had been in Italy for a longer time and she told us that she was a bit disappointed on Venice as it was kind of dirty there. They had visited some places where her fiancé had been living when he was young. His father had been a pilot in the airforce and gotten killed in an accident when he was only 15 years old.
As she didn't sound English I had to ask where she was from. America she said, and that's where they were living too now. Just outside L.A. I told her that I had been there with my kind of ex-finacé. "Sorry to hear" she said. I must have looked as a questionmark because she continued with "Your ex, you said." Marie-Louise had to laugh, "they're married now". We talked some more and then Marie-Louise had to go Simon her son had woken up and Ola and Per was out on the town doing something. We decided on coffee in the evening around 8-8.30. Of course we invited our new "friend"

When I told Ola about the chat we had had on the balcony I came to think of that we hadn't introduced eachother. I did recongnize that woman, but I couldn't place her. I KNEW I had seen her somewhere before, well when they knocked on the door Marie-Louise, Per and Simon was there already.
I did recongnize her finacé too and I knew when she said her first name, Susan where I had seen them. In MY kitchen here on MY honeymoon Susan Ward and Clive Robertson of "The Sun Will Never Set" were standing.
The first time I had seen them was when I "ran" off to Sunset Beach to visit Ben and Meg. I had seen them in the TV in a soap about the town of Sunset Beach. When I told them about it they said that when the show got cancelled and they got to know how much the fans loved it a few of the actors(almost everyone) and the producer Aaron Spelling started their own soapchannel and now their main show was "The Sun Will Never Set".
We talked for hours and when it was time to part Marie-Louise and Per had to carry little Simon as he had fallen asleep on the sofa. We decided to meet Wendesday in the lobby at 6-6.30 to go out for dinner.

Dear Diary,
We were on that trip in the mountains today. It was great as ever, we went to Valldemosa(to see where Chopin lived that winter before he died) and then the trip went to Puerto de Soller and Lluc to the monestary that has a black Madonna statue.
In the evening we had dinner at a nearby resturant together with Marie-Louise, Per, Simon, Clive and Susan. We got invited to witness their weddingcermony on Friday. Of course we accepted and then me and Marie-Louise decided that we have to do something in return, so we told them that we'll treat them on a wedding-dinner Friday night.(See even when I'm on vacation I plan parties, LOL)
Of course I had to ask why they did it in private. Well with work and stuff the time wasn't really enough and with Clive's realtives in England and Susans in another state they had decided to throw them a party afterwards instead.
August 10th 2001
Dear Diary,
The time goes by quickly when you're having fun. We've almost been here a week now and both yesterday and today me and Ola went to the beach, so I've gotten a bit of a tan for this afternoon's happening. The wedding between Clive and Susan. Yesterday evening when we were out walking after dinner I found a really nice dress, it's this summerdress that I think I can use at home later as a top when I get bigger. It's just to have a cardigan over so I won't freeze. I guess I'll write more later today.
Well it's been a long day but now it's over. I'll soon get to bed. The weddingcermony was lovely. Susan had a white very beautiful but simple dress. Clive had a bright suit. They looked lovely and I took pictures.
Then after the cermony we went back to the hotel, we hadn't booked the table at the Scandinavian resturant called "Göta Kanal" until 7 and the cermony had been at 5. We talked a lot at dinner. This is some of it.
Susan: You have to come visit us the next time you come to California.
Me: Well that won't be for about two years I think.
Susan: Why's that, can't you come next summer, you can stay with us if your cousin don't have the room for you.
Me: Well with the baby coming in February I want to spend next summer at home.
Susan: Baby? You're pregnant? Congratulations!
Me: Thanks.
Clive patted Ola on the back: Congratulations to you too. (I didn't day this before, but he had the same sexy voice as he had on TV)
Ola: Thanks, I guess.
Susan: Well February, didn't you say you were married in July? You didn't plan that very well then, did you?
Ola: We didn't plan at all, I happend to have my birthday in May.
Clive: You had a great birthday then I guess? All the guys laughed.
Marie-Louise: You're really funny guys.
Clive: So what about you? he adressed Marie-Louise and Per, a brother or sister to this one any time soon?
Marie-Louise: Actually in March.
Per: And yes, we did plan that. That remark made us all laugh.
And of course before we really knew it it was almost 11PM and we went back home. As it was Friday there had been dancing in the resturant too. I am totally beaten and it shall be great to get into bed. We decided to have dinner all 7 of us again on Sunday then Clive and Susan was leaving on Monday, they had to get back to start working on the next season. Susan asked if she could call me to ask things about the pregnacy as they had left of the season with the cliffhanger that suggested that her character were pregnant, if she didn't have someone more nearby that is. I said of course as I'm in the middle of it and it's the first time.
I guess it's time to get to bed now, Ola's already there and right now I just want to go there and snuggle up in his arms and stay like that forever. I can't believe that the first week as gone by already.
Nighty!August 13th 2001
Dear Diary,
Well the days just flies by. We had dinner together with Clive and Susan again today. It was lovely. We ate at Ola's, no I'm not kidding there is a resturant called like that. The food was good and the company was great. When we got back to the hotel we exchanged adresses and phonenumbers. Clive and Susan are leaving sometime around noon and we(me, Ola, Marie-Louise, Per and Simon) are all going to Marineland. Then on Tuesday we're gonna drive to see the caves in Porto Cristo and to Manacor.
August 16th 2001
Dear Diary,
Again, what can I say. Marineland was great and so was the caves and we did some driving around the "countryside" when we had the car anyway. I've showed Ola so many of my favorite places these two weeks and he's liked them too. I guess we'll be returning here many times, especially since we've seen how nice everyone is when you have kids with you.
It's too bad you're not allowed to take pics in the caves, when you stand there and look at the stalaktites and stalakmites growing together and making formations you're just so amased, and I knew there was something I saw last time, but I couldn't see it this time. LOL
We've been to the beach too quite a lot this week and we got all day tomorrow to spend there too. What else have we done? Of course been lazy as you should when you're on vacation. In the evenings we went out for dinner and a walk. Sometimes along the beach and sometimes in the town. We didn't go everywhere with Marie-Louise and Per, but we had had some good fun together.
Well I don't know if there's so much more to be said but we're going home on Saturday. I guess we're having more stuff with us home than we had when we got here as we had to buy some souvenirs.
We called home Sunday and got to know that Ben and Derek with families had gotten off as planned and was now in England to visit their relatives there. I guess I have to call Meg when I get home. There wasn't much time to spend with them as I first had the wedding to think of and then I had to work. Put in all the hours I can as long as I'm able to work I guess.
Well we're off to the beach for a short while now. I'm not sure if I have a chance to write more until we're back home.
August 20th 2001
Dear Diary,
What did I say? I didn't have time to write more down there! Anyway, the weather have been great both weeks and when I got home there was a letter from Susan and Clive I guess they had written it already at Mallorca. I called Marie-Louise and they had gotten one too, it was a really nice card and a pic of us all at their wedding. I have to see if I can get it scanned one day, but until then I have to buy a frame to put it in.
I send my films to be delivered the first thing I did yesterday. So I guess I'll have them by the weekend, the ones over the internet at least, the paper pics I might not get until next Monday. Now I have to dash of to work, or I'll be late. It will be good to get back to "normal" working and being home without having to plan for parties and stuff.
September 1st 2001
Dear Diary,
The time is running when we're at home too, and soon Ola's getting a lot to do with work, I hope he don't get to many drives where he has to stay in the car over night. Of course I'd missed him last year when he did, but this time it's different. It feels kind of safe having him home and sleeping in his arms every night. I have to say that the baby is doing just fine and it's due after my birthday at least, and I hope it will be so too as I don't want my baby to have the same birthday as me, although the month will be the same. LOL
We did catch up with Linda and Magnus too last weekend, I had Sunday off as it was the first weekend since we got back I couldn't demand to have Saturday off. It was great weather and we sat outside in their little garden and had a barbeque. Linda's sister who lives in England and her boyfriend was there too. It was fun to catch up. As I had gotten my photos I had them with me, some of them was kind of like others I have from Mallorca, but I haven't had them on a CD before and I needed that so I could use them on the web if I liked. And I think I should make my own Mallorca page, I've found out that it's kind of fun doing webpages, and I've started to write a lot too, so I guess I'll try to spend my sparetime if I get any after the baby's born doing that.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Author's note!
I've tried to keep this story going, but right now I don't know where to go from here, so I'll put this story to rest. I won't say it's finished because I don't feel like it is, but there won't be chapters for a while if ever.
Thank you for reading it, thank you for support and feedback.
