·         As Programmer, PIFRA (Project to Improve Financial Reporting and Auditing) in Budget & Accounts Section PIFRA.

·         Worked as Core team member on SAP System administration, in order to implement SAP system in Pakistan Audit Department under PIFRA.

Project 1: Computerization of General Provident Fund System using oracle 8 and Developer 2000 (Forms 6.0, Reports 3.0)

My position: I worked in this project as Programmer.

Project detail: At the time of joining as permanent employee of Federal/Provincial Government the employee is bound to subscribe a fixed amount to the GP Fund from his/her monthly salary. It includes the following activities.

v      Accumulation of balance of the subscription of GP Fund

v      Accumulation of Refundable / Non-refundable against the GP Fund balance.

v      Accumulation of Annual Interest on the GP Fund balances.

v      Accumulation of Annual Interest on the GP Fund to the employee or heirs in case of Superannuating Retirement, Termination or Death.

The software is capable of all above activities and generates following hardcopy/online reports.

v      Monthly subscription of each employee

v      Employee balance reports

v      Missing credit of each employee

v      Advances taken by employee from his/her GP Fund

v      Balance transfer report

v      Final payment report

 

 

Project 2: Computerization of outcomes of a survey about computer utilization in Accounts/Audit offices, using Oracle 8 and Developer 2000 (Forms 6.0, Reports 3.0)

 

My position: I worked in this project as Database Designer / Programmer.

 

Project detail: Maintain database of computer hardware, software and its utilization in Accounts/Audit offices all over Pakistan. It includes following reports.

 

v      Overall usage of computer related applications in Accounts/Audit offices

v      Total number of Computer Brand wise

v      Total number of computers in each office

v      Number of Monitors/Modems/Hard disk/Sound card/Scanners

v      Allocation of computer systems employee wise

 

Project 3: Budgeting & Accounting Information System for PIFRA using Oracle 8 and Developer 2000 (Forms 6.0, Reports 3.0)

 

My Position: I worked as Programmer

 

Project detail: Maintain Budget and Accounts for the project financed by Govt. of Pakistan and Word Bank. Main features of this system are as follows:

v      Entering day to day transitions out of Govt. Fund and World Bank Fund separately.

v       Reconciliations of Accounts.

v      Recording Log of users.

v      System security, no access to unauthorized user.

v      Reports regarding Budget and Expenditure.
