I would lead him on slowly. Oh, but what a task to quell my excitement and anticipation. But I managed to think of other things. So thankful was I that I had only to enter his living quarters which was unattached to that great church. So fierce was the pain within me that I could never pass through its doors. It was then that I came once more to grasp the reason of these events. So I calmed. I relaxed, my eyes darting up from my tea just long enough to view him as he sat so vulnerable, not more than three feet away, sipping his tea, staring into the fire set before us.  "Do you mind", I asked, now standing, with my hand upon my saber. "What say thee?" he said in a start. I hadn't realized he'd been so deep in thought. "May I remove my saber so that I might fully enjoy the comfort of this chair?" "Why yes, of course." he replied. "Make yourself comfortable."
