Sixteen seasons did I keep when voices beckoned me to wander. Farewell
did I bid the family unit that, till this day, did keep me in safe arms. Let it
not be said of their absence did I long, for never had I known such devotion and
unselfishness rendered on my being. I will always pardon those that kept me.
They will always know compassion, for how could they not reflect in that which
they so unselfishly bathed on me. Their sacrifice was my beginning and were it
not for the fruit of their hearts I would lie devoid of nectar and the
life-force of mine wraith. Feed did they the spirit that grows within me. Rise
did they give hope and strength and fill my void with gentle substance stayed
with ties of wisdom and self confidence lest no man put me asunder. Fiercely
galloping the plains of my being, on wild stallions my force set freeing, on
endless journeys of far off thunder. Of me, did they nourish and tend, for them,
will my loyalty never end.
