The days that followed were all new to me.  Each brought forth new ideas and experiences. I soon comprehended the notion of belonging and systematically began exploiting my environment. Nothing was safe about me. Inquisitive fingers and hands would eventually break down the defenses of anything of interest or mystery that would fall into my clutches. My hunger to unveil the unknown, insatiable. My thirst for knowledge, unquenchable. The world seemed easy and my intellect went largely unchallenged.  Were it not for my newfound ability to walk I would have remained un-stimulated and with frustration.  The written words were now within my grasp and the tender belly of the world lay vulnerable before me.  Ineffable the quandary of passages lay breaking. With all I had to choose and which one shall I do the others lay unquestioned.  Uncountable my query and my options do I weigh. For none deserve omission nor I the ignorance I'd pay.  So forward came tomorrow and I wondered as I cracked the seal on my own benightedness, just who I'd be when all had been assimilated, interpreted and reformulated.

So it was in celebration and of five earth years that I, of traditional misfortune, was sent amongst my peers for the sake of exchange of knowledge and prejudicial postulations.  That I was relegated to render with inadequate contention was insult more than enough. But I was not ready to capitulate and stand in judgment without the credence and respect that only time and deed could bring. You could say that of a redwood, I was but a mere seed. Destined to greatness, but as yet, too insignificant to be accounted.
