SHANIA TWAIN LIVE: ON TOUR
This project is all my work. It took about 12 weeks of constant
work. First, I recorded two of Shania Twain's concerts from the television
and on video (it says that on the CD jacket). Then I had to edit the music
on the computer using, the program: Audio View Sound
Editor. Next I placed the songs in the order that I wanted them,
which was not the order in which they were in the concerts. This
was very hard, because I had to "mix" each track into the next. There
is no silence between the tracks, the music just flows. In order
to do this, I had to "mix" the crowd sounds, so that it sounded natural.
Shania lets other people sing with her when she's doing a concert.
I replaced their singing on two songs with the first chorus of the songs,
because it sounded bad and I didn't want their singing on my CD. After
I edited all the music, I "burned" the CD on my CD-R Recorder.
Then I designed the label. On it, there is an actual
ticket that I scanned into the computer and customized. Then I made
the jacket. I had to locate the right pictures, copy them onto the
file and added the text. I printed them out with the program:
CD Labeler.
The quality of these images appear much better on the
actual album.
