I sat today on my balcony, sanding the arm of a chair to an antique dinning set I bought. While I was doing this thoughts of my Dad came to mind. I watched throughout the years as each thing that got broken was fixed. I watched you work, love and live. I also watched you die. As I watched this I learned. We are all dying slowly from birth on. We're born to live only to die. The more I think of your logic and your life, the more I realize. I learned more from you than anyone else. You taught me to forgive, laugh and love and to stand on my own. You also taught me to take pride in myself and the things that I do. I miss the times we spent talking over a cup of coffee. I know that with everything you taught me, that I'll be ok. I'll always be proud to of had a DAD like you...
