Our thoughts and prayers are with all those whose lives have been touched in any way by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

PEACE, JOY, AND LOVE TO ALL!

Peace

Do not look forward to what might happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father, who cares for you today, will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.

"Hope" is the thing with feathers
That perches on the Soul--
And sings the tune without the words--
And never stops at all.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together... *Author Unknown"

Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

LORD,
Make me an instrument
of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Were there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O DIVINE MASTER,
Grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that
we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we
are born to eternal life.

A Cute Poem

There was a little girl,
who had a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very good,
but, when she was bad she was horrid!

Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you. All things are passing.
God never changes.

Patience above all things, nothing is wanting to those who have God.
God will suffice.

St. Teresa of Avila

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Intercessor of The Unborn

To help stop abortion, spiritually adopt an unborn child. This is done by praying that one particular but unknown child's life be spared abortion. and be allowed to continue to live.

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion."

During your earthly life this spiritually
adopted child of yours will be known
only to God but in the world to come it
is hoped that you will meet the child whose
life was spared by your prayers and spend eternal happiness with them.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

As to the extraordinary revelation, in order that I might not become conceited, I was given a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan to beat me and keep me from getting proud. Three times I begged the Lord that this might leave me. He said to me, "My grace is enough for you, for in weakness power reaches perfection." And so I willingly boast of my weaknesses instead, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I am content with weakness, with mistreatment, with distress, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ; for when I am powerless, it is then that I am strong.

Romans 12:13-21
Look on the needs of the saints as your own;
be generous in offering hospitality. Bless your persecutors;
bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice,
weep with those who weep. Have the same attitude toward all.
Put away ambitious thoughts and associate
with those who are lowly. Do not be wise in your own
estimation. Never repay injury with injury. See that your
conduct is honorable in the eyes of all. If possible, live
peaceably with everyone. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves;
leave that to God's wrath, for it is written:
"Vengeance is mine; I will repay," says the Lord." But "if our
enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something
to drink; by doing this you will heap burning coals upon is head." Do not be conquered by evil but conquer
evil with good.

Ant: Late have I loved you, O Beauty ever ancient, ever new, late have I loved you. You called, you shouted and you shattered my deafness.

"I bound myself by oath. I made a covenant with you... and you became mine."

Ezekiel 16:8

SOLACE

They are not gone - these loved ones whom we mourn, we must not think of them as far away. Unto a fuller life have they been born, laying aside the vesture of this clay. Yet near us still they watch, and love and know; we the blind ones who no longer see familiar forms that we so dearly loved, waiting reunion in eternity.

A Prayer For Priests

Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord
Keep them, for they are Thine -
Thy priests whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart;
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure, -
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them, and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them, and O remember Lord,
They have no one but Thee,
Yet they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.
