Rammsteinis a East German rock band that was formed some years ago by lead guitarist Richard Kruspe- Bernstein. Their heavy lyrics and unique music have made them popular all over the world. Their lyrics are in german so its hard to understand the songs at first but english speaking fans usually get around this some way or another. Their first hit was a song called "Engel" whcih featured in the Movie "Mortal Kombat". This was followed up by the Internationl smash "Du hast" which featured on the blobkbuster movie "The Matrix".

Rammstein is headed by former olympic grade swimmer Till Lindemann (Vocals), Richard Kruspe (Guitar and Back up vocals), Oliver (Bass Guitar), Paul (Guitar), Christoph "Doom" Schneider (Drums) and Doktor Christian "Flake" Lorenz (keyboard). .
