Phillip Dutton: 2 times gold medalist!

In Atlanta 1996 Phillip Dutton was very much the 'new boy' of the Australian Eventing Team. His successes at Hauge and the WEG had given him entrance to the Team with his Bay Thoroughbred gelding True Blue Girdwood. The pair preformed spectaculary at the 96 olmpics, turning in a sparkling dressage test and a faultless cross country round and Australia won the gold. Phillip returned to the 2000 olympic team with a younger horse House Doctor who had shown a lot of promise. Phillip's dressage test was very workmanlike and his cross country was bold and faultless and the showjumping was near perfect. Phillips had clinched his second gold medal at the Teams 3 day event!
