Chapter 1
Once upon a time there was a princess named Fay
Princess Fay adored the day
But mostly she lived in the twilight time
Who lived in the twilight hours of the day
With the wind and the sun on her face
You could find her at times in the meadows
With her very best friend Lady Amber
Picking lilacs for their mothers
And singing their sweet summer songs
With the magical fantasy folk
Who can only be seen by the children
(and the grown-ups that aren't too grown)
For the twilight time is when they emerge
To play 'neath the sheltering stars
That protect them from the inquisitive eyes
Of the grown-ups who are much too grown
