Leave Me Alone: $200,000 Melair Stakes, California Gold Rush at Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2005) – Leave Me Alone made it three wins in her last four races by taking Sunday $200,000 Melair Stakes for 3-year-old California-bred fillies on the Cal National Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park.

Leave Me Alone is by Bold Badgett, out of the Moscow Ballet mare Fabulous Ballet, was bred by Old English Rancho and Quinn and Pond and is owned by S.M. Mitchell Ranch.

She ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.07 and finished two lengths in front of Cee’s Irish, with Two Times Won finishing third.

Leave Me Alone was trained by Eric Kruljac and ridden by Tyler Baze. She went off at odds of 3-1. She was coming off a second in the Santa Paula Stakes and this was her first race around two turns.
