Jan 30--Tyler has seven mounts in the San Antonio Stakes undercard at Santa Anita tomorrow. On Sunday he has six, including Marino Marini in the Grade II $150K Palos Verdes Stakes! Tyler is currently fourth in the jock standings right behind Mike Smith, Victor E., and Alex Solis.
Jan 25--Tyler and Special Matter finished third in yesterday's Franks Farm Turf Stk., part of the Sunshine Million. Today he's back at Santa Anita with eight rides on the Santa Monica Hcp. undercard.
Jan 16--Tyler rides favored St. Averil in the Grade II Santa Catalina Stakes tomorrow. Today he'll ride Impetuous Fling in the Pasaena Stakes for D. Wayne Lukas and Bob & Beverly Lewis.
Jan 12--Tyler and Hosco ($10) scored in the Grade III San Miguel Stakes yesterday. Read the article!!
Jan 9--Tyler and Excessivepleasure are listed as probably for tomorrow's Grade II $200K San Fernando BC Stakes.
Jan 7--Tyler finished the Hollywood Park meet tied with Julie Krone for third place with 23 wins apiece. Moving on to Santa Anita, he and Kent Desormeaux are both sitting fourth with 7 wins. Today he has seven mounts. Tyler will ride Ionia in the $56K Allowance Feature (2nd race) for Fillies and Mares. Tomorrow he and Special Matter are in the second race worth $65K, no doubt prepping for a bigger race...
Feb 29--According to Daily Racing Form, St. Averil is #9 on the top 10 Derby prospects list:
St Avril (Rafael Becerra; Tyler Baze) -- Worked six furlongs in 1:12 on Feb. 19 at Santa Anita ... Won Santa Catalina (Jan. 17), beating Master David ... Next start: San Felipe (March 14) ... Odds: 25-1
Tyler scored twice at SA yesterday, with Amiable Amy ($13.80) in the 5th and Shelly's Terms ($5.80) in the 7th. Today he has six mounts including Mazella in the $100K La Habra stakes on the Downhill Turf course for 3yo fillies.
Feb 25--Five rides for Tyler today, including a couple in the features $49K Allowances. Six rides for tomorrow.
Feb 23--A Triple for Tyler on Saturday (1st-Archness $5.80; 3rd-Whenthewindblows $7.60; 4th-NY Remembered $3.00) and a Double on Sunday (2nd-Chapeau $10.20; 4th-Cinder Ron $3.60) but unfortunately none of the Stakes :( Six mounts for Tyler on Wednesday. He will ride Miss Del Mar in the 4th and Iron Halo in the 7th, both $49K Allowances.
Feb 21--Tyler has seven mounts today including Southern Oasis in the Grade II Buena Vista Hcp. Tomorrow he rides six, including Icantgoforthat in the Grade III Las Flores Hcp.
Feb 18--Tyler won the Pro or Con Hcp this past Sunday. Read the article here. On Thursday, he has six mounts including Crackup in the $60K Allowance Optional Claimer on the Turf that goes as the seventh.
Feb 9--Hosco and Borrego finished second in the San Vicente and Sham Stakes, respectively.
TYLER BAZE, HOSCO, SECOND: ďHe ran good. Going as easy as we were going I didnít think anybody could beat us. Going into the turn we were galloping still. I never had to ask him to get to the lead or nothing. At the turn I said all Iíve got to do is push the button and heíll go. But I think itís just a little bit too far for him. They might try him going long once. Itís hard to say. That horse (Imperialism) just blew by us. If my horse had seen him I donít think that horse ever would have got by.Ē
On Wednesday, Tyler has six mounts. He will ride Truly a Judge in the $70K Thunder Road Stakes. Probably ride for Tyler in next Sunday's $100K Pro or Con Hcp is Super High.
Feb 7--New image added to the Gallery>>Web. Triple win day for Tyler yesterday!! He took the first with FJ's Pace ($7.60/$4.60/$4.20), the third with the appropriately named Triple Fantasy ($7/$3.80/$2.60) and the fourth with Playgirl ($8/$4.80/$3.60). Today Tyler has seven mounts including Hosco in the Grade II $150K San Vicente Stakes. They are 7-5 on the line. Tyler also has seven mounts tomorrow, with Borrego in the $75K Sham Stakes.
Feb 2--Marino Marini and Tyler finished second in the Palos Verdes. For the Sham Stakes on Feb. 8th, Tyler is listed as the rider for probably runner Borego. **fixed bugs in Gallery. all the pics should be viewable now**
Mar 21--Tyler has eight mounts today. He will ride Cayoke in the El Cielo Hcp on the downhill turf course and Friendly Michelle in the Santa Paula Stk for 3yo fillies at 6 1/2 furlongs.
Mar 17--Happy St. Patricks Day!! Tyler...only three mounts for tomorrow but he has five mounts on Friday. In the SA jock standings he is currently in third place with 338 mounts and 54 wins and $2,349,252 in earnings.
Mar 12--Tyler has six mounts tomorrow. He will ride Crackup in the $100K Crystal Water Hcp on the turf.
Mar 5--Tyler will also ride Deal Buster for Laura Pinelli in the Catalina Derby Saturday night at Los Al.
Mar 4--Tyler is currently third in the jockey standings with 44 wins. Tomorrow he has six rides. He'll be on Talk Me Again in the $56K allowance feature for fillies/mares at 6 1/2 f down the hill in the 7th. Saturday he'll be riding in all 11 races. His mounts for the big races are: Hosco in the Grade II San Rafael Stk., Designed for Luck in the Grade II Frank E. Kilroe Mile, and Saint Buddy in the Grade I Santa Anita Hcp.
Mar 3--Saint Buddy and Tyler Baze are probable for this Saturday's Santa Anita Handicap, as reported by Blood Horse.

Apr 9--Tyler has nine mounts tomorrow. My favorite of which is Flamethrowintexan (a Florida bred) because of his oh so cool name!!
Apr 3--Tomorrow Tyler rides the Brazilian bred Notting Hill in the Grade 3 $100K Las Cienegas Hcp on the downhill turf course for fillies and mares.
Apr 2--Tyler will ride St. Averil in the Santa Anita Derby tomorrow! He also rides Soud in the Arcadia Hcp and Kela in the San Bernardino Hcp.
Meet Tyler Baze in Vegas! Tyler and Doug O'Neill will have a meet and greet at the Gold Coast on April 12 from 9-10 as part of a handicapping seminar.
May 27--Tyler is listed to ride Glick in the $350,000-added Grade I Shoemaker Breeders' Cup Mile at Hollywood Park this Saturday.
May 26--Today Tyler rides five. Tomorrow Tyler also has five rides, including Notting Hill in the $58K Allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf that goes as the 7th.
May 22--Tyler will be back on Heros Call to ride him in the James S Smith Memorial Hcp. for quarter horses tonight at Los Alamitos. Meanwhile today at Hollywood Park he has six rides on the Will Rogers Hcp undercard. Tomorrow, he'll ride five including Black Wagner in the Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stk for 2yo.
May 16--Tyler was hot at Hollypark yesterday ^_^
Tyler Baze, meanwhile, remained the hottest jockey at Hollywood Park, riding four winners Saturday, giving him nine for the week. He has ridden 13 winners at the meet and has climbed from a three-way tie for tenth in the standings to fourth place with Solis in just four days.
Baze, who had not ridden four winners on a card previously at Hollywood Park, connected on Charming Boy ($5.60) in the second race, Vencer ($11.60) in the fourth, Freedom's Key ($24.20) in the sixth and Victory Girl ($6.60) in the seventh race.
May 8--It was an all Tyler early double at Hollywood Park today as he won the first with Jake Skate and the second with The Road Boss. Tyler also guided Marino Marini to a second place finish in the Grade 3 Los Angeles Times Handicap. St. Averil is also out for the year, so that likely means no Preakness for Tyler :(
May 2--St. Averil was scratched out of the KY Derby because of sore feet :( Let's hope he's healthy and happy enough to start and do well in the Preakness :)
Jun 29--Tyler scored a triple on Sunday, sweeping the second thru fourth races at Hollywood Park with Slippery When Bet, St. Kilda, and FJ's Pace. Tomorrow he will ride six including Voz de Colegiala in the $58K Allowance Optional Claimer for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. Thursday he has five mounts while Friday he has seven. He'll rid Reasonably Brite in the $50K Allowance feature for statebred fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles.
It looks as if Tyler will ride Steel Princess in this Saturday's American Oaks, a Grade I $750K race. He is currently in second place in the jockey standings with 38 wins with 19 days left in the meet.
Jun 16--Only three mounts for Tyler today. He'll ride Goldy Rock in a $50K Allowance for 4yo and up fillies and mares on the Hollywood Park turf. Tomorrow he rides seven, including Silent Gold in the $50K Allow/Op. Claiming for 3yo at one mile on the turf that goes as the fifth.
Jun 12--Tyler and German bred Sabiango win the Grade 1 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap! Read the articles here! He also rode Elusive Diva to a good second place finish in the Grade 2 Hollywood Breeders' Cup Oaks.
Tomorrow Tyler will have six mounts including Tiz A Coup in the $75K Quicken Tree Stakes for 4yo+ statebreds at 1 1/2 miles on the turf.
Jun 4--On tomorrow's Hollypark card Tyler rides eight including Shake Off in the Grade 2 $175K Honeymoon BCH for 3yo fillies at 1 1/8 miles on the turf. Meanwhile, Tyler only has four rides today. He will ride Stop the Talking in the first of two $50K races, the 2nd-an Allowance/Optional Claimer. And Cielo Blincoe in the 7th, a $50K state bred Allowance on the turf.

Jul 29--Tomorrow Tyler has seven rides. He will ride Shezsospiritual in the $75K Daisycutter Hcp at five furlongs on the turf. Saturday will be a busy day for Tyler with nine mounts, including Shadow of Mine in the Grade 2 $150K San Clemente Hcp at one mile on the turf (4th race). He will also ride Buddy Gil in hte $75K Wickerr Hcp also at one mile on the turf (8th race). The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club will be donating money to the Don MacBeth Memorial Jockey Fund every time a rider wins two or more races per day, so let's all cheer on Tyler (and everyone else...^_^)
Jul 25--Tyler bags a triple today, winning the early double with Brite Betty in the opener and then taking the second race, the Grade 1 $250K Bing Crosby BCH with Kela ($19.60/$8.40/$4.60) triumphing over the favored Pohave by 1 1/2 lengths. He then won the nitecap (as always ^_^) with Power Tripper ($10/$6.20/$5.60). Kela articles HERE!
Jul 19--Tyler won the riding title at Hollywood Park yesterday, after winning the G2 Sunset Hcp with Star over the Bay! YAY! He also won the Claiming Crown Emerald with Stage Player on Saturday! Read articles here! Del Mar opens on Wednesday :) And Tyler has eight mounts. He'll ride Semi Lost in Division 1 of the Oceanside Stk. and Fairly Run (FR) in Division 2.
Jul 10--Three good prices on Tyler's wins yesterday: Frosty Breeze in the 3rd (19/9.20/6.40), Iron City Jack in the 4th (18/6/60/4/40), SOS Be Good in the 8th (9/40/5.60/3.80). Tyler only won one race today, unfortunately not any of the big stakes, but the 2nd aboard Low Bolly, $12 for us on the win. Tomorrow he will ride six, including Summer Wind Dancer in the Grade 1 Milady BCH for $250K at 1 1/16 miles on the dirt.
Jul 08--Tyler has nine rides this Saturday. He will ride Pocketfullofposies in teh Grade 2 A Gleam Invitational and Bear in the Woods in the Grade 2 Swaps Stakes.
Jul 01--Tyler will have ten rides this Saturday. He will ride Fun House in the G III Royal Heroine Stakes, Steel Princess in the G I American Oaks, Shakeoff in the Flawlessly Stakes, and Hasty Kris in the G I Triple Bend Invitational Hcp.
21 AUG-!!TBF is going on hiatus!! I really hate to do this since Tyler is really heating up now and if I'm being a little bold, apologies, but I really think Tyler will score his second riding title at DMR. But unfortunately for me--the webmeister--real life calls and I will be leaving for a very very long government sponsored "vacation" otherwise known as US Army Basic Training, etc. Rest assured, the website will come back to life as soon as humanly possible, whenever that is. Aug 21--Two wins for Tyler today with Old Man Boots (7.80/3.80/3.20) in the fourth and Swiss Lad (4.60/3.00/2.40) in the sixth. He finished second by a neck on Barbara Orr in the Rancho Bernardo. On Monday Tyler will have six mounts. The feature is aa $75K Allowance at 1 3/8 miles on the turf whre Tyler will ride Cozie Advantage. In the meantime, remember to root for Tyler and Night Patrol in the Pac Classic!!
Aug 19--On both Saturday and Sunday Tyler will have eight mounts. Saturday he'll ride Western Hemisphere in the Grade 1 $300K Del Mar Oaks at 1 1/8 miles on the turf that goes as the second. Then he'll ride Barbara Orr in the 8th race, the Grade 3 $150K Rancho Bernardo Hcp at 6 1/2 furlongs. Sunday we'll see him ride Shake Off in the Barona Hcp at 1 mile on the turf and then he'll be on Night Patrol in the Grade 1 $1 million Pacific Classic at 1 1/4 miles. Good Luck, Tyler!!
Aug 16--Tyler is on an incredible streak this meet! Today he once again won four races on the card: the 2nd with Bella Nunzi, 4th with Kid Royal, 6th with 4-1 shot Greenie who paid 10.60 on the win, and of course the nitecap with Cherokee Spires. Wednesday he will ride F J's Pace in the $75K Green Flash Handicap.
Aug 15--Only one win for Tyler today but it was a sweet win by Kela in the Grade 2 Pat O'brien Hcp! He beat huge favorite Pico Central by 5 3/4 lengths combined. Pico finished third, beaten out for second money be a longshot. Read the articles HERE! Congratulations on another super win, Tyler!!
Aug 13--Tyler won "only" two races today, the first with Evrybdyluvsdaheat at 9-1 and the fifth with Etch. Read the DRF Article now!
Aug 12--Tyler is really hot right now! He won four races yesterday: the third with favored Power Tripper, fifth with Bertha Jo, another favorite, seventh feature with Stage Player. And of course what is a Tyler day without a score in the nitecap with Daddysangbass. Tomorrow he'll ride seven, including Ardum Relaunch in the 7th feature, and AllowOpClaimer for $63K at 1 1/8 miles on the Del Mar turf. He's also riding a personal favorite of mines, Redmeansgo in the nitecap. Saturday Tyler has mounts in all ten races. He'll ride Semi Lost in the Grade 2 La Jolla Hcp for $150K at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. Sunday, Tyler will be on board Kela in the $200K Pat O'Brien Stakes at 7 furlongs.
Aug 11--My bad! Tyler IS indeed the top dawg in the jockey standings now, with his triple on Monday added to the triple he had on Sunday. YESSSS!!! Today he won the feature Osunitas Hcp with Voz de Colegiala (23.20/8.60/6.60). Here's what Blood Horse had to say about it:
Chilean-bred Voz de Colegiala, flying the famous green silks of owner Nelson Bunker Hunt, prevailed in a blanket finish under leading rider Tyler Baze to win the $80,150 Osunitas Handicap for older fillies and mares Wednesday at Del Mar.
Aug 10--Tyler scored a triple yesterday to move within one win of the number one spot in the DMR jock standings. He swept the 5th thru 7th races with West War (14.80/7.00/5.20) in the 5th, Best in the Storm (8.80/4.80/3.60) in the 6th and Head of the House (17.40/9.00/3.80) in the seventh. Tomorrow he has six mounts, including Voz de Colegiala (CHI) in the $75K Osunitas Hcp for fillies and mares 3yo and up at 1 1/16 miles on the turf that goes as the 7th. Thursday he has five mounts. He will ride Stage Player in the 7th race which is the $70K feature, and allowance optional claimer for 3yo and up at 1 mile on the turf. TYLER BAZE (House of Fortune) Ė ď I couldnít believe he (Jon Court) blew by me like that. My filly ran great. She was running so nice and easy with that good stride of hers and when I asked her for run, she gave it to me. At the quarter pole I said to myself ĎIím going to win.í But that other mare was too much. This is a good race for my filly though. Running against these good older mares and doing well. My filly is special.Ē
Aug 4--Tyler has six mounts tomorrow and seven on Friday. He'll ride Never Surrender in the $100K Real Good Deal Stakes for 3yo statebreds at seven furlongs on the Del Mar dirt. Tyler is currently third in the jockey standings with 13 wins behind Victor E and Corey Nakatani. He is set to ride House of Fortune in this Sunday's Grade 2 $300K Clement Hirsch Handicap.
